Does anyone have info on this stallion? I looked him up through AQHA, but was curious if anyone personally knew of/about him. TIA!

He would be 31 so he's probably dead.

Right, he's deceased. I'm wondering if anyone knew him/about him while he was alive. Temperament, quirks, etc. We are interested in an own daughter of his.

Bump for you, L

Thank you D it appears no one knows anything about this stallion, although I did come across a post from 2016 where OP was asking about stallions to breed to her mare (daughter of Ultimate Outcome and full sister to the mare we are purchasing), and that had some helpful bloodline crossing info.

That is my mare, Cashin Outcome :) my sister posted about her. We absolutely love her! While I didn't know Ultimate Outcome we have seen a few of his babies run and they are nice! We have crossed our mare on Slick By Design, Frenchmans Bully and she is currently cooking a First Moon Medley for me. Before we got her she was crossed on I think their names are Bi Lucka Buck and Frenchmans Hired Gun. A common theme in all her babies has been a really big hip and overall fairly thick built. Our mare I don't think had the kindest start to life but is about as sweet as they come. She hasn't been handled a ton but takes everything in stride and has hauled quiet as a mouse every time. Maybe asking on the BRN4D board would get you a little more info, I think he was in the SE WA area??

If the mare you are considering is a full sister to ours, on the bottom side Beaulum is also the dam of DC Princess that Tracy/Phillip Kenyon run. She is a really nice mare!

Thank you very much for the response! I am so excited for this mare, but I agree with you- she has some quirks that make me think she didn’t have the easiest start in life either, but I wasn’t sure if that was nature (stallion/mare personality) or nurture. That’s great to hear yours has been such a good mare for you and I hope this FMM foal turns out to be a showstopper
I hadn’t been able to find any info on Beaulam, so I will absolutely look up DC Princess and see what I can learn, thank you again!

Ours has given us a couple really nice babies, the Slick By Design yearling looks so nice and moves even better and her Frenchmans Bully filly from this year so far appears to be another really nice baby! I'm looking forward to the FMM in May! The quirks ours came with from a rough start to life she has really overcome, at first she tried to put up a brave face and get her bluff in but she caved with minimal effort from us (basically just being kind to her and ample amounts of belly scratches) and turned into one who craves attention and tries really hard to please even if its just a quick trip to the vet. I hope yours ends up being just the mare you were hoping for, good luck with her! :)

I think it’s hard not to be biased when it’s all of your hard work and passion coming to fruition in the form of a foal! I feel the same way about our foals (especially our Hired Gun x daughter of Big Brown 2018 filly), and $10 says I will feel the same way with this new mare and her foals!

That’s wonderful she tries so hard and is so willing, now I can’t wait to start working with this mare! You’ll have to post pictures of her foals so we can all see how gorgeous they are!

So y'all did get the mare, L?

Yes ma'am, she'll be coming home next week

I think you and kj11 should both be required to show pictures

I will for sure D!!

Looking forward to it, girlfriend!!

He was a nice horse. Some folks here in Moses Lake had him for a long time in the late 90s/early 2000s. They raised thoroughbreds and it was kind of in the day before everyone was using AI on a real regular basis and we don’t have a plethora of horse vets around here anyways. Long story short he was pretty underutilized as a stud on a large scale and probably didn’t breed the *best* mares though the barrel racers around here that did know about him seemed to like his babies and did well on them. There’s lots (relative for how many mares he bred) of rodeo horses that came from him whether direct progeny or grand get. I remember him being real pretty and having a good disposition. Deb Copenhaver bought him late in life and had him until the stud died sometime in the mid 2000s.

Wow, that is great to hear! We got our mare today and she is a sweetheart, so I am happy to learn more about her sire and what he's produced, even if it's only on a somewhat-local level.

Thank you!!

Here are some pictures of mine... if I can get them to post. The black/bay colt is her 2017 Slick By Design at 2/3 months and just recently as a yearling and the pali filly is her 2018 Frenchmans Bully at 1 and 2 months old
