Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | 6 lg. Russet potatoes {Peeled and cut into 1/2 cubes} 3Β 14oz. cans chicken broth 2 1/2 tsp. salt 1c. whipping cream 8 oz. sour cream 1/2 cup butter 1 1/4 tsp. ground pepper 1c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1 bag real bacon bitsΒ
Combine first six ingredients in a 5 quart slow cooker, cover and cook on high for four hours or on low for eight hours {or untill potatoes are tender}, mash mixture untill potatoes are coarsely chopped and soup is lightly thickened: stir in creamcheese. Top with sour cream, if desired, and sprinkel with bacon bits and more cheddar cheese befor serving.Β
I had a few mins to spare so thought I would go ahead and post this for you Spencer,, happy cooking, just wanted to say the 2 and a half tsp. of salt sure seems to be alot I think I would use less, maybe?Β |

Location: Texas | There's an easier one that has been on here:
1 bag of frozen hash browns
2 cans chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
Put all that in the crock pot and cook all day
Last half hour, add a block of cream cheese.
Serve when all cream cheese is mixed in. |

This!!! But you have to add crispy bacon before you serve it. That is an absolute must!!! |
