Chest/Muscle injury- Soft Tissue Injury

What have been some experiences with horses that have had muscle/soft tissue injuries of the chest area. I have a head horse that got hurt out in the pasture at the end of January 2018. We have had him xrayed from his shoulder down and no fractures/cracks what so ever. Now we are seeing a small indention in his center chest. We are doing massage & red laser light therapy once a month and seeing improvement. He stands/moves sound and carries himself sound. The only way to tell that he is a bit off is when he turns to cross over to the right or left. But this is getting better. Any ideas to speed up the healing would be appreciated.

just time. My 5yr old stud tore all the hide off his chest as a yearling. Could see a hole all the way down his chest. We ranch on him and he has a nice start in barrels and poles.
