| My new guy is still doing very well! Had the chiropractor come out today for the first time, just for preventative measures. He noticed he was a little sore along his spine, but by the end of the session he was not sore anymore. He looked at my saddle I'm using on him, and really thinks his soreness is from the saddle. The saddle seems tight above his shoulders, and my 30in long pad is hitting his hip. The soreness right now is very minor, and I have not noticed anything under saddle that has concerned me. Chiropractor thinks if I don't do something different saddle and saddle pad wise this will cause issues in the long run, which I don't want...
I've always been curious about treeless saddles. I have never rode in one, but have a lesson on Friday and my trainer said I could ride in her Bob Marshall to see how it fits him. There is a lady at the barn I board at that is selling a Tammy Fischer treeless and said I could try that as well. Her price is $1,000 and is slightly negotiable. My trainer said ordering a new BM can take 6 months sometimes. I REALLY can't afford a new saddle at the moment, but if the treeless works out I think I will go that route.
I bought a 34in Shoulder Relief Cinch that I love, but my trainer said that will be way too long, and won't work..so that's another expense.
I am a member of a bunch of treeless saddles for sale groups on FB, and they are little over my budget right now. Does anyone know if either BM or Tammy Fischers offer payment plans? I would like to stick in the $800 range right now.
How do I know if the treeless saddles will work for him or not?

| Shoot, snatch up the TF for $1000 or whatever they’ll come down to if it’s in good shape. Most treeless fit most horses. Bout only issue is shark fin withers. Those are hard to fit.
The girth will sell easily and you can prob sell current saddle to help recoup some funds too.
Treeless are great if your pretty stable in the saddle. Or ride more bareback to help gain balancing muscles. Good to go! |

It's a 13.5 in and I'm not sure I can fit in it.. 
It's in amazing condition. He doesn't have shark fin withers..Your right, I think the girth will sell easily. I'm pretty stable in the saddle for the most part. |

Location: TEXAS | I've been using a treeless saddle for at least 10 years. Absolutely love it. They fit just about any type of horse, but as for the rider, I think it's one of those things where you either love em or hate em. I have 2 of them; both Bob Marshalls. I wouild think $1000 is a pretty good deal for the Tammy Fisher. If it was me, I would snatch it up! |

| Its like any saddle you don't know until you know lol.
As for the cinch. I had to get one custom made, anything i found local I hated ( seemed to be for lead line ponies type quality) Some people will take payments. I bought my tammy used from a lady I hardly knew but she let me make payments and take it before it was paid in full, many tack stores will set up payments OAC but I'm not sure on the makers. |

Location: Oklahoma | If you buy the Tammy Fischer for $1000 and don't like it, it will easily bring that if you want to sell it. I know a lady that has a 15" original Bob Marshall that is really nice for $800, which is unheard of. Not sure what size you're looking for, but treeless saddles are designed to fit snug. If you buy them too big, they will fold up around you. They also fit on a horse a little farther back than a treed saddle. They're not designed to sit up on the shoulders. I've been riding Bob Marshalls since 1994 and have won over $100K in them. I'm a fan and won't ride in anything else. I've never ridden a Tammy Fischer,so I can't really give you an opinion on how they ride,but I do know the used ones generally sell for more than $1000. |

| I was telling everyone what my plans are. I didn't tell anyone to contact me to purchase, I didn't put a price, because I'm not selling on here. Grow up and mind your own business.

Location: Texas | I've been riding them since '96 and love mine. People either love them or hate them it seems. I like to ride mine a little larger because I don't like the trapped in feeling. If I were you, I would try several sizes and you'll know which feel you like. |

| I have a love/hate relationship with a treeless. My old horse just flat out worked better in my TF. I, personally, didn't care for it, but we go with what helps the horse right? So I dealt with it. I've since sold the horse so will be selling the saddle. You won't know until you try it and I'd recommend trying it because it's definitely something you will need to get used to. |
