Would you breed this mare? and if so, what stud? I am thinking something cow bred.

ETA: Bugatti Special (her sire) won $25k on the track. Will try to upload a picture of her.

Based on pedigree alone? No. $25k is nothing on the racetrack.

Only if you'd be keeping the baby yourself. Otherwise probably not super profitable.
That being said I would go with a FWF son and not cowbred.

I added that her sire had won some money on the track, just so you’d know he was somewhat successful in something. On the dam side, Triple Dash was said to be a great producer but didn’t get to run on the track due to an injury.

This mare is super sweet but just doesn’t have turn in her pedigree. She had ran in the 1D but got caught in a fence last year and hasn’t been the same since. She has been checked from head to toe, she makes improvements but still struggles with the right side. She is super super strong.

I will only breed her if I can find a stud that will help cross out some of that run.

I can not get the picture to upload :/ here is a video I found of her a while back on YouTube. https://youtu.be/ycbw89v0CJk

Depending on your budget I'd bet you could breed her to something more "barrel bred" and still get the turn you're looking for. Like maybe Blazin Jetolena or Firewaterontherocks?

I like her pedigree as well. Just because her sire only won $25k on the track doesn't make her an immediate throwaway in my opinion. There are gobs of stallions that were injured and never competed or have little to zero earnings to their names and have produced some nice, nice foals. I am a huge proponent of the run/cow cross and would love to see her crossed on something cowbred as well.

If you like the mare, and feel confident that she could produce something better than herself and want to pass her bloodlines, mentality, and physical ability along, then I say go for it! Not all mares and stallions are going to be high end money winners, but they can be darn good producers and make names for themselves that way. (I'm not saying it happens every time, but it has happened).

That being said, how tall is she? What is your stud fee budget? What are you hoping to improve upon besides the turning? Are there any cowbred stallions or bloodlines you like?

I've always like this mare when you ran her. I would breed her, if you can find something that will make a good cross.

Based on pedigree alone? No. $25k is nothing on the racetrack.

Dashin Follies won less than $500 on the track but what a producer!

She's worth breeding off the old blood on the bottom side alone to me. Find you a a stud in the budget you like, thats marketable, has good quality semen, and go with him!

Another thing Epic Leader's sire Confederate Leader won I think like less than $400 on the track granted he got into someone's hands that made him a barrel horse but its food for thought about earnings. Also Confederate Leader was a son of Special Effort crossed on a some Go Man Go blood just like your mare

Fiestas Gotta Gun is one of the stallions that came to mind while I was writing my response, he was injured young and never did much in the arena, but I am really liking the look of his babies! They are starting to make a good name for themselves.

If your goal is to make a prospect that's marketable to sell I might advise you against breeding her. The market is very soft right now and "good" bred prospects are a dime a dozen and often barely bringing what you have in to making them. In my opinion there are too many people breeding mediocre horses.
