Extreme Veteran Posts: 396 Location: Iowa	What is everyone’s favorite Therapy/Rehabilitation treatment? Of course, there is your Liniments, BOT, PHT etc. but I am referring to therapy or rehabilitation units that people make a side job out of such as: -Equine Cold Lasers -Equisports Professional Horse Massager -Magna Wave PEMF -Theraplates -Electro Equiscope -Equi Spas -Equinix Photonic Torch -Any Others? Benefits of them? Interested to hear what everyone’s favorite is and why it is their favorite! With most of these units being set up at barrel races today, it would be nice to know what works and what doesn’t, what is worth our money and what isn’t. Success stories are great! We will leave the IRAPs, stem cells, etc to the licensed vets ?? Note: I am not personally looking into purchasing a unit for a side job, but I am curious at why some people do and how they choose so. My personal input: I have had great success with a cold laser healing open wounds quickly. So glad a friend referred me!

	I’m rehabbing my horse right now. The vets recommended a pemf and a laser. I bought both. They work really well. Love the magnet (pemf ) on my back or anywhere that hurts it goes through bone and you can feel it working. Like the laser too. We’ve had good results. Hope that helps!

Red Bull Agressive Posts: 5981 Location: North Dakota	I tried a PEMF on my horse and myself. He seemed to feel pretty good afterward. I was shocked at how much it helped me. I was having some really bad hip and knee pain and after applying it to those areas, they were pretty much pain free!

Elite Veteran Posts: 964 Location: Alberta, Canada	I use an Equivibe daily and have a PEMF sponsor that works on my horses monthly. I send my good horse to the salt water spa for two weeks mid season every year for a mental break. Also could not live without my osteopath.
