****This is just my experience**** I used to give it to my open horse before he run and seriously it felt like it took the run out of him but AGAIN... that is just my personal observation. I do use it on my boys when there's a big weather change or something stressful going on. It is good to have it handy for that! |

Location: CTX | I tried it last year, and the only change I saw was that my boy felt sluggish when I was riding/ warming up. Did not care for that at all, so stopped using it. |

Location: South | I love this product! I started using it on a 5 year old Appendix bred Mare before I ran to take the edge off of her and it did just that and more. She was more focused on her job, not bug eyed looking at stuff or watchy. It was a noticeable difference I saw. I'm now using it to treat her for ulcers. For me, it's a must have in my barn. |

I LOVE the stuff. I have used it when I noticed my horse was a touch colicy and pulled him right out. I was ready with the banamine but if I can give something else and works, I would rather use it first instead of running right for the meds. I also used it when I saw some soft stool/almost cow pattie like and it hardened it right up (within about 3-5 hours) Total transformation. I think it really does settle their stomachs and will settle ones nerves if they are in a stressful situation, esoecially if it is due to ulcers or whatnot. I didn't notice it making this horse sluggish, but I had one back in the day (about 5 years ago) that it did feel a little sluggish when I used it on him. He was a hot mess though so I welcomed the sluggish on him. LOL

Location: Iowa | I have never felt/seen results when used as a pre-race supplement to take edge off. However, I always keep it around because it has saved my horses when it comes to them showing signs of sickness, colic and ulcers. I give it to my horses whenever weather changes dramatically, trailering, stalling…anything that they normally do not have that inflicts stress or whenever they get a cough or runny nose. Zesterra fixes those things for me, my vet even likes it! |

| I use it for my ulcery horse before races, and I've never noticed him sluggish, but he is calmer. But ulcery horses are known for their nerves taking over, so I figure his belly feels better, so then so does he.
I also give it to them when we have these lovely polar vortex days and when the temp has a bi-polar episode to keep them drinking. I've used it for colicky symptoms as well.
I won't go without the stuff in my barn. |

Location: North Dakota | I have used the true Zesterra in the past on my mare when she didn't drink well at a weekend run. It helped some what but she had bigger issues going on at that time. I have both my current horses on the vit-a-zine mineral with zesterra in it. My 26 year old gelding and 4 year old mare both get a maintanence dose of Zesterra everyday with the mineral. I am only about a month in on using it. So far so good. |

| I've been looking into Zesterra for ulcers because of all the reviews but I'm confused as to what the science is behind this? It's has corn and soybean oil which I know has some soothing properties with stomach issues... And obviously colloidal silver too which acts like an antibiotic... Does anyone know how it's works? Or has there been any studies done besides just periodic ulcer scopings? Has anyone tried the lick tub?

| I have friends who use it and love it. I have never used because I just can't see how those ingredients do much, several of them I avoid in other things so not sure. I guess you can not deny people get results but I have also heard that with things like ulcer horses once you stop they come right back because you have not actually treated the ulcer issue. I probably will try it someday just because everyone talks about how much they love it. |

I am using the loose mineral which is made by the same company as the lick tub. They get a maintanence dose of Zesterra with every feeding. I am loving it so far. I board and my horses are not in the same pens. If they were I probably would have just gone with the lick tub. |

Location: SE Missouri | I love it. I am beyond excited to get my order of tubs in. My mare has has been getting it for 2 years now and I fee that it was key in keeping her healthy and considering what all we threw at her. My mare runs 1D/2D at big shows and I’ve never felt like it took any run away from her.
I’ve seen it pull two horses out of mild colic- ok one of was mild the other way laying on her back with feet in the air and zero gut sounds. I won’t be without it if at all possible! |

Location: Texas! | Back when it was EQUISURE and Cattleativ I worked for a company that was selling it. They basically told me it came from an all natural “cleaner” that’s why it bubbles. The big wow to it was the coloidal silver if I remember correctly. I used it bc I had a lot for free and was obviously supposed to be pushing it but never noticed anything good or bad in my horses so... I don’t know I don’t trust most oral supplements though. I still have bottles left over I never used/sold. That was before it kind of took off and I don’t know if they’ve changed anything/added benefits. |

It is the formulation of ingredients that make it work, not the single ingredients on their own. It coats the stomach, balances the PH which allows healing. They did a study on a couple of race horses that had ulcers and saw healing in 7 days, nothing was changed other than giving the Zesterra twice a day, the horses were scoped every 5 days over a 30 day period and were kept in race training. We have had a couple young horses in training that were a little "tight" or wanted to have some buck to them, after starting them on the Zesterra it completely changed their disposition. We will not go without in our barn. |
