Been thinking about trying the slow feeder hay nets to feed alfalfa/Bermuda flakes in the mornings. Has anyone tried them, if so how do you like them? I also thought about maybe trying the square bale slow feeder nets but not sure how long a bale would last 1 horse.

I use them everyday. It almost completely eliminates waste. I actually perfer a slow feed bag or a slow feeder hay box to the nets.

I love Nibblenets. Mine have last 4+ years now and are going strong. I think they do better with grass than they do alfalfa. I have bought the cheap nets from smartpack when I needed to slow feed alfalfa. They work fine and are cheap, they just don’t last as long as Nibblenets. My Nibblenets are used year round, every day. sun/rain/snow. Tied to the trailer. Tied to the fence. Hooked to the flatbed when traveling. I abuse them and they still last. They’re super tough. 

I love them. I have ones that hold upwards of 30lbs each, so I pack one full for each horse at night, hang them up and it takes them 24 hrs to go through it. It's drastically cut down on waste and I only have to mess with hay once per day (save for when it is extremely cold, I will hang an extra bag out in the morning to make sure they have enough and they usually have some leftover). I also have smaller ones to take to shows. 

To fill my massive ones,  I have a barrel that the top comes off of and I put the bag in there and cinch tight around the top, and stuff it...uncinch and pull out of the barrel when done. Works great! 

I have one for the large bales.  2 wall feeders for the stalled horse and 1 that I tie closed and take with me-such a savings of hay, not only do they not waste the hay, there is not the mess to clean up around the feeders anymore AND I think they are more satisfied as they can't just gobble down all their hay and then stand around wondering what to eat until they are fed again.  Best, invention ever!  I too offer a 20% off discount through their referral program. https://go.referralcandy.com/share/NMTLX85

This is exactly what I do!

I felt kind of lazy when I started doing hay this way...because I was so excited to only have to mess with it once per day. But, they almost always have a bit left at the bottom of the bag when I go to refill, I know how much they're getting and they're not wasting any. Wins all around!

Just ordered a Hay Chix a month ago, easily paid for itself. Husband and I our both convinced. We use it on the large rounds.

Love them. Just bought one of the largest hole round bale ones for an old guy, broodmare and my show horse that are in the corral. I almost think I like it better than the horse size. Still no waste and they don't get as hangry when they try and get a bite and pull on the netting in frustration. I like the smaller ones for in the barn when I have Audie locked in out of the sun. I put alfalfa in it and what falls out he munches later

Love them! I hve 4 haychix and 1 Memphis hay net for big rounds. The haychix are easier ro put on but the Memphis hay net hold up better. Absolutely no waste now. 

my friend uses Nag(not sure on spelling) hay nets. they are from Canada I believe she said.
