Location: USA | I had a slinky on to protect it and she apparently hated it and would scratch her neck on the side of her stall door and she rubbed and it got really thin. I then put MTG with aloe on it once and it burned her and the hair fell out. Lovely. She gets fed flax, what other tips and tricks to help encourage hair growth? Biotin?? |

| I would look into bio mane, Ive never used it myself, but I've heard good things
but I do love there informational videos on taking care of a mane and tail.

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | Biomane did nothing for mine either and I use it for over a year on three geldings, I kept thinking buy another tub when I would run out maybe this time around I will see a difference, lol so I did this for about 14 months then finally I stoped buying it, never did see anything different.. Boohoo I wanted a longer tail on my one gelding, but hes just the type that does not grown much of a tail.. Its all in the genes..  |

Where did you get it? Is it weird that it kinda grosses me out to feed my horse something that comes from pig or cow bones/skin?? |

I definitely think their hair growth is genetic. She naturally has a long and thick mane - it’s just thinned out and rubbed out in the middle from the stupid slinky and fence. Grrrrrrr. Why do all the pretty ones jack their hair up? My gelding who has this gorgeous thick and long tail got half of it chewed off by my weanling. Why??!!?? |

Is it weird that it kinda grosses me out to feed my horse something that comes from pig or cow bones/skin??
Alot of my race horse buddys would buy gelatin for some of their horses it was good for hoofs, it made them stronger and grow faster. You can but it at any stores like Wal Mart. |

Location: Illinois | BioMane worked well for my horses that genetically have longer or thick fast growing hair. My mare has a thin short mane and after almost a year I saw no results with it. I did bump my farrier schedule up 2-3 weeks, which I was not a fan of. I put her on it for same reason, fence rubbed the middle of her mane to the root. And the hair around it. I just started applying coconut oil to the area and within 2 months it was back to normal. She still has the dent in her actual neck flesh, but all the hair came back quickly. It's my go to for hair growth on any body part. Works well for growing hair back on scrapes & stuff too |
