Has anyone noticed since the AQHA revamped their website that their records lookup is not as user friendly, plus the $10 credit/month to look up records on the website is no longer? It could possibly be user error on my part, but I am baffled by the new site and when I went to look up a stallion's foal summary, it asked me for a form of payment, which has never happened before. Anyone else struggling- or getting it to work for them? Thanks!

Never noticed this, well since I just look up pedigrees and owner ship maybe its just when you look deeper into something, I just do the simple stuff. I will go look to see if anything had changed in what I look for. 

I believe it was just this past week that they revamped the site. I just tried with a simple pedigree and it's giving me the same option- to buy the record... looks like no more free credit for members! 

Welll what the He**, good grief!!!!! What a total mess, I cant even find a place to put horses name in to do a record search , Not happy with this set up, I just got used to the new set up from a few years back and now another revamp. Now I'll have to sit and study this mess all over again.. and didnt see our 10.00 dollar worth of free look ups either..

 They had the site down for maintenance from like feb 28-March 3. Went to see if my young horses papers went through and totally confused myself on the new system. (They haven’t but they cashed the checks I sent and then asked for $5 more which I sent and they cashed??) 

When I do log on and then go to the pedigree records it takes me to NOT FOUND and The requested resource could not be found, all in pink..So I'm guessing the site is still down.. WOW!!! Why do they keep changing this site up! There was nothing wrong in the way it was, guess they are adding more to this site.

Roxie- It's all sorts of a mess. I dislike the menu that drops down everytime you accidentally scroll your mouse over the top of the page, covering what you're reading (or trying to). I wonder if they're still working on the site, or if they received enough complaints that they would change it back. I like my credit!!!

Racer4eva- That's strange they would just charge you another $5, did they give you any reason why?

Yept I like my credit's too, I like helping the BB's out when they are looking for owership of the horses they are looking at, are just needing a little infor about the horse, well that sure will cut into my helping someone out. LOL.. 

Exactly! It's always fun learning more about other horses that people are interested in and giving them more info; I'm thinking AQHA made a big mistake here.

Think fee may have changed from when breeder printed out transfer report to when it was sent in. But I sent in papers beg/mid jan and still haven’t heard a word

They took a perfectly worthless site and made it worse. In typical AQHA fashion 

Your credits are there but wait till you attmept to use them and they charge you sales tax on your pretend money.

Count yourself lucky you can even log in. I have yet to successfully do that.  

did you go to the AQHA online members services? I had a heck of a time just trying to find the log in and finally after trying different areas I went to the online members service and finally got to log on, but now I just dont get any service at all, just that message Not Found, lol.. 

Wow so now we are going to be charged tax on something that we are suppose to get to use since we are payed members?!!! yept, really screwing up something that once use to be good, now its going to be difficult for us that did use this site. That Suc*'s... And wondering why its taking them so long to finish screwing this all up..

When on the home page, there are two tabs you can log in on.  Members and Sign In.  Trying either gets you to the place you have to put user name and password. Neither work. When I tried to create a new log in, it didn't like me to use my only email address because it was already in use.  I'm not going to create a new email address. It's just one more place to get spammed.  

Like madredepeanut said its frustrating, I'm going to call or send AQHA a friendly email and in a nice way I'm going to tell them their new wedsite SUCKS!!!! LOL... 

You're not alone.  That webiste is a mess, to put it politely.   The customer service "help" to trouble shoot the website hasn't improved either. 

I logged in without much trouble, but I'm really irritated with the records research area. No free $10 worth of records research that I could find, either. The home page and articles read ok, but the research area is terrible trying to navigate by phone. The words don't wrap to the next line and the windows don't expand horizontally so I can't even read the record descriptions to make sure I'm selecting the right one. Pretty much the only reason I log in to the AQHA website is to do records research (which I do frequently), so if I can't use that there's no reason for me to go there at all. ****es me off.

AQHA on a whole is a mess. I wish there was some way to fire them. They are getting outrageous on fees. Raise everything & do everything they can to get more money out of you. It takes months to process stuff. I have called several times about papers we haven't got back & they are just sitting there they say oh everything is done they just haven't been processed yet. I'll do that now. Now they are wanting to raise money so they can move to Ft Worth. Geez just wait till they start charging us for that.

It shouldn't cost you anything to look up records if you are a member if you do it yourself. OUr money paid for their data base.

And while I'm on my soap box!!!! Why don't they have a toll free #.
