Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | My chickens lay all year round, but one spring a couple of years back I was wondering where all my eggs were going because a few hens were not laying in their boxs, and then I was moving bales and found all these, lol..  |

| OHHHHHHHH.....LOL I don't have chickens... I thought you were talking about horses pooping in their feeders out of laziness! LOL My horses like to poop in their feeders this time of year because the ground is Wet. |

That's to funny. A couple of mine have been known to leave poo balls in their grain buckets or water buckets. We are down to 2 hens. The bannie flys on top of the tack room to sleep & I'm sure when the day comes to clean the crap off of the top of that room, I will find a zillion bad eggs of her's  The older austrolorpe is the hay feeder layer. Nothing better than fresh eggs :) But the chicken poop is not worth it. When these 2 go, I will buy my eggs from the chicken people in my area. |
