| I’ve tried at least 10 saddles on my mare and have had her fitted. The closest fit is a pozzi, so that’s what I’m sticking to for now. No matter what saddle I use or which pad (7/8 5 star or CSI), the saddle rolls. Especially to the left. I’ve tried readjusting my stirrups but that doesn’t make a difference. Someone cooled her out for me last weekend and said the saddle was leaning to the left. My untrained eye has looked over my horse and I don’t see a difference in her build from one side to the other. Any suggestions?????? |

| I had same issue but mine was to the right if that makes a darn bit of difference. I couldn't see any difference on my horse either. Saddle fit is excellent so what I finally found that worked is a saddleright pad and a Mohair cinch. I normally use Reinsman Fleece cinches but the Mohair works better. SO far so good! |

Would you think thinner or thicker? Or perhaps a different pad altogether? I ride in a 7/8 5star. |

Its been my experience that thinner is better for rolling. I actually started using just a liner with a navajo blanket (gasp from the audience LOL) and it has worked great. When I had a 5 Star it was 1/2". |

Location: USA | I am in the same boat! No matter what saddle I use on him it seems to roll/shift to the left coming out of my turns. Mine mainly shifts just enough that it is very difficult to run to your third and be sitting square for the turn. I feel I sit pretty balanced in my seat and it still does it. I use a 1/2" 5 star pad... mohair cinch.. and I have tried a 3/4" pad and a wool cinch and it still does it. I've even had a mold done of my horse and had a custom saddle made... still does it. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I would try to find a saddle with a droped rigging to try, I had a hard to fit horse and saddle would always roll, I bought a dropped rigging saddle and that helped so much, the saddle did not roll. And another time when I had a problem with my new saddle rolling on this one horse the saddle rolled no matter what I did, so was going to send the saddle back and one of the sells lady came to look at it to see what my complaint was, this was a {Circle Y befor it changed hands many times and got crappy} and she looked at it and said the tree was crooked, they fixed it for me and never rolled again. I know this is not your prolem OP since you have tryed 10 different saddles on this one horse but just saying for others that are having a problem is to have your saddle checked if its only that one saddle that rolls... But a dropped rigging is worth to look at and try if you can. |

It rolled worse than the rolling saddle I was trying to replace! ?? It’s always something!!

I had one a few years back and that was the best fitting saddle I ever had for my one gelding that was hard to fit at the time, I sold it because the swells were kinda to low for what I was use to riding, but if the swells would have been taller I would have kept that saddle forever, lol.

| Sometimes the rider's build can cause this. I have scoliosis, and my left leg is shorter than my right. If my stirrups are not adjusted differently, my saddles will lean to the left. |

I did think it was me for a long time and tried adjusting my stirrups a million ways. About a month ago, my horses were running back to back so I asked a friend to help me warm up and cool down. She was on that horse and said “your saddle leans to the left”! So I THINK it’s my horse....I think. Not certain. |

Location: South Dakota | Stand on a fairly tall bucket directly behind her, looking down towards her head, and see if her shoulders are level, and the same size. Often one shoulder will be a bit bigger, with a noticeable bulge, causing the saddle to want to drift to the side that is flatter. This is a fairly common deal with horses. |

I don't see anything too significant, maybe the left there is a bit of a "bulge", but hard to compare with the mane covering her right side, and her head is cocked a bit to the left as well. |

Its kinda hard to tell but on the side without the mane it looks like maybe there could be a muscle that is not developed, looks like a hole almost like hollowed out looking, but it could just be the way the color is on this horse its a darker area, thats why I was wanting side views pictures.. Edited for my spelling
