Hello everyone Been a while since I've posted. But I thought if anyone would know a solution, it would be you ladies! I'm running into serious issues getting my horse moved from Kentucky to Colorado. I moved out here in January, but I couldn't haul him at the time. I have a horse trailer, but no truck. I was simply going up rent a truck, but on top of milage and gas in the thing, they want $350 a day to rent one for a one way trip! Any suggestions. I'm racking my brain. My friend is keeping him for me, but I don't want to keep paying her to board him indefinitely. I really want my boy out here and I don't know anyone who will haul him. Thanks.
If you have Facebook there is a group called Horse Hauling. You can also google Horse Hauling.
Just make sure the company has good reviews and is licensed and insured. I'm sure you could ask around on here if you find a good candidate to see what people have heard. There are definitely some BAD ones.
Also, a lot of breeders have hauling companies they use on their websites, so that might be a place to look. They probably wouldn't list them on their website if they had bad luck with getting a foal hauled.
Diamond Spur (Gretchen Leahrkind) is the BEST. Professional, highly recommended. Also, she is a barrel racer.

Contact Brandon Browning he is on FB. He lives in Kentucky and travels to Montana a good bit. He hauled a horse from Colorado to me here in WV. Pretty reasonable. and very good with my horse.
