Location: Arkansas | I'm thinking about buying a treeless saddle. I have read a lot of good reviews and a lot of bad reviews. What do you think and if you would buy one what brand would it be? Thanks!!!!!!!

| I absolutely love my Tammy Fischer treeless!!! I don't think I could ever go back to a treed. I tried my friends bob Marshall before I bought the Tammy and I hated the bob. I felt trapped. If you can try both before you buy it's a good idea. I know a lady that has a treeless hilason and its falling apart after a few months. |

Location: CTX | Haven’t tried the TF so can’t comment on that. But I used to own a Circle Y BM and liked it alright. Now I have 2 original BM’s that I love! It’s the only thing I use now, besides a treed one for my 4yo. But plan on starting him in the BM pretty soon. The best thing you can do is try the different ones out for a while if you can. 1 or 2 rides won’t give you enough info. Ride them for a couple if weeks, and also make a fun runs in them if you can. |

Location: Oklahoma | I have ridden treeless saddles since 1994. My favorite is the original Bob Marshall, but not the new ones. The little bit older ones that were made when Bob was still alive are much better quality, IMO. |

Both mine are somewhat older, the last one I got back in 2016 and Bob was still alive. So can’t say anything about the quality now. Didn’ Know it had gone down. That is very sad. |

| I have old ones and new ones...love them all. There was a drop in quality around 7 years ago but it has gone back up in the last couple years |

Location: Jersey Girl | Definitely try and ride in one if you can before you buy. I had a TF and hated it. I am short and I felt like the horn was up in my face. Also it was too locked in. I ordered a BM with the forward pommel (I forget what they call it) and I don't feel trapped at all in it. It is the same size as the TF I had. |

| A lot of it is personal preference. I'm a Caldwell fan but, I've ridden in a treeless off an on for 20 years when I've needed one for one reason or another. My favorite was a Bob Marshall original (I hate the Circle Y Bob Marshall's) and I still like those. But, for certain horses I also now like a Just B Natural by Circle Y. I can tell you that I'm short (5'1") so, I absolutely HATE a Tammy Fischer myself. Because of where the fenders tie in so low, I feel like my legs are tied to my horse. So again, it's personal preference. They all ride differently. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I have a Bob Marshall original and love it, I have been talked out of them a few times so would sell but always got another one to replace the one I sold and I have had Circle Y's too and liked them also untill circle Y has been sold over and over and over and the different owners kept getting cheaper and cheaper on how they built Circle Y saddles, so would never own another Circle Y, they just got cheap built but not cheap on the prices. |

Location: MN | I LOVED my Bob Marshall. Just recently sold it because it made my guys back SO sore. I had it custom ordered a few years ago, so I was a little sad to see it go. As soon as I made the switch back to a treed saddle though, the soreness went away. I knew it was the right decision. |

| I have ridden in a few circle y's and a few originals. The circle y, does have a more peaked pommel. My neices OTTB it works good for her. So keep that in mind. Originals also can be peaked or not, a lot of people dont know but a good question to ask. I have a friends now with the Alison Ray rigging and i really dont like it. My legs are super far forward and they almost snag on the latigo, cinch area sometimes. Certainly ride in a few and not all are designed the same so ask for the specs if they have them! So you know what you like. |

Location: Arkansas | Thats the only bad thing I have read about the bob marshalls. My horse already has some back problems and I real don't want to make them worse. So I'm keeping that in mind before I get one. |
