Location: Oklahoma | Ok I found a color selector on DIY Pole Barns. This is what Im thinking and narrowed it down: Gray roof (like ash) White trim windows and frame of building Gray end doors (drive thru) White door Walk thru Burgundy Body Another way Burgundy roof White trim or Black trim White door Gray body (ash) doors on the end either white or black match the trim Another way Gray body and roof Burgundy trim and big doors White door No wainscoat on any of them I like them but we decided not to do. I dont want it to be the same as everyone. In my area there is alot of Burgundy roofs, but not the body of it. I love dramatic dark colors but dont want to get tired of it. Want it to look homey not stark. So if any ideas or I shouldnt do something please let me know what you think. This is the first I have ever got to build! and Im a little overwhelm picking colors bc you cant just change it! or I cant anyways. This is gonna be my forever place! I have looked and looked on google and pinterest for ideas but would love personal experiences. Thanks! |

Location: Missouri | Gray roof (like ash) White trim windows and frame of building Gray end doors (drive thru) White door Walk thru Burgundy Body I really like this first option you posted! The black trim on on the third option makes me go ohhhhh but I'd worry about it being too busy. That's just me though. Another thing to consider is color of your house or other outbuildings? I'm a total weirdo and I'd want everything to look not uniform, but cohesive. |

Location: Peg-Leg Julia Grimm | Just an FYI. Darker or even medium colors will oxidize. My barns are all white with colored trim only. They still look as good as the day they were built. I noticed any sheet metal clad buildings that have any color to them, even light blue, are all oxidized. |

Totally taking out the burgundy.....I just had some big run in she’d built. They’re white with white trim, and gray roofs. Like silver without the metallic. I wanted black roofs, but was also concerned about fading. I know it’s not what you are considering, but it might help decide if white if what you want for your barn

Location: Kentucky | If it was me, the 1st option, or last. Light color roof is great to help keep it cool in the summer. When I had my barn built, I went with my home colors. Tan roof a siding. Dark brown trim. If I didn''t have to match a house. I'd go with your colors, or Burgundy and Hunter Green with a light color roof.
