| I'm curious if all money earned at recorded 4d jackpots is counted towards LTE or if only money earned in the 1d is counted?

| So if a horse has $60,000 LTE you don't know if $20,000 of that was won in the 3d? |

| If the info is reported to Equistat, it will break down what was won where. Also you can google the horse’s name and check barrel race results very easily. Might that most barrel races are progressive payout now so it would be much harder to win large amounts in the 3,4, or 5 D.

Location: Claremore, OK | Not too many horses will have 60k in earnings. If they do, most of it will Have come from the 1-2d. (Unless they hit well at the Pink Buckle one of the last 2 years) Equistat or SGP will have the specific division/placings listed along with earnings. if someone is claiming that amount as being won by their horse and isn't able to back it up, there's a problem.

Location: Illinois | Any money, whether its a divisional race or straight jackpot. It should show on EquiStat or like stated above and easily googled. Ours never get reported to EquiStat because there's not enough registered names entered to do so, we all are lazy and use barn names unless it's a big show. I've always kept a spreadsheet because of this, how much was won, the date, the event, the placing, etc. So it's easy to provide if I were to sell one of them. I think EquiStat has just under $500 for one and my record shows over $10k for example. Having your own records in my opinion is better, that way you have any proof you need to back it up. I usually try to take a photo of the results too & keep them all stored in a folder on my computer. I'd prefer that over just checking EquiStat |

| Happened on this thread and I am curious, how much does money won during a season or lifetime earnings affect a horse's sale price? Is there a rule of thumb for money won versus pricing, since I sometimes see prices all over the map. |
