Yes I have used it and saw huge improvements on my guy. We had tried a couple other things first, by Stride and we would see improvements short term. Then we did the hind gut, and he has been much better and it has been long term.

He is an older gelding, was not eating all his feed weight was on the lower side. We tried transform first and it helped for a while but then when he came off of it went back to not finishing his feed. We saw improvements while he was on fish oil factor(which is in the 21 day). He was putting weight on and doing better but still not as good as we liked him to be. So did the 21 day. after a couple days on it he started finishing all his meals at the same time as my others where. Before it would take him all day to eat his breakfast. He has put on weight, top line, feels better. We did this back in August, and he is still doing good. I do keep him on the fish oil for long term.

The other horse we did it on. She had been treated for ulcers multiple times by owner. We did the hind gut on her. She is much happier. Eating well, looks better.

I know some people say their horses wont eat it at first.(Ive not had that problem with any of the stride supplements) That is a sign something is wrong. Get it in them some how, then after it starts getting them better they will eat it. You can make it into a paste, or mix it with something sticky or wet.

Saw good improvements with my guy but he will flat out not eat it. He's been on it over 2 months and I have to syringe it morning and night. Luckily he's good about it so it is what it is. I know it helps him and he looks great on it. Plus I can throw my powder joint supplement in with it and know he's getting all of it and not letting it fall out of his mouth onto the ground with the rest of his feed lol

My mare is on day 17 at this time. Prior to the program she was walking away from her food and had been treated with omeprazole. After just 3 days on the hind gut program she was no longer leaving her bucket. She's not a huge fan of all of the powders, but has been eating well over the past two weeks. We did have a slight upset stomach on Tuesday with the dramatic weather change, but resolved with some banamine and she was back to aggressively pushing her bucket around the stall.

Back in August my mare developed hypohidrosis where she hardly sweat. It created a lot of stress and super itchy skin. Vitamin E didn't help and I think the stress from those 13 triple digit days tore her stomach up. Her allergies flaired up over two months ago causing her to have this terrible persistant dry cough. And now that I think about it I actually have not heard her cough in the last week or more. She also is very grumpy about her stomach, flanks and stifles being touched to the point where she gives you dirty looks and threats when you blanket her. She's been blanketed for the past week so we shall see in a few days if this is any better.

My only hope is that we continue forward and don't revert back to where we were.

What are the feeding directions for the 21 day program? I don’t see them on the website. Is it a twice a day? How much powder is added? Is the page given at the same time as meals?

I'm getting ready to do a feed change then will start the Hind Gut. I'm gonna do pics and document what all changes I see. I'm really excited to see some positive changes....hopefully!
I will have to say, talking and emailing the folks at Stride is amazing! I sent them a long email that was just all over the place about my gelding. I got a response back same day and it was direct! It wasn't...well lets try this or that....it was this, this and this and if you don't see changes then get back with us and we will reevaluate. One of the best experiences as far as speaking with a vet/nutritionist EVER!

Look up a horse named Lightnin Fast Wagon on Equibase.  You will be able to see from his race record when he started on the Immune Program (same as Hindgut but with added C and E).  We still have some kinks to work out but he's running much better, is so much stronger and recovers quicker.

Was anyone's horse picky at first with the fish oil added on their food? My mare usually cleans her bucket but this morning left quite a bit.

Yes!  I just cut the amount of the FOF and upped it back gradually.  It took about 4 days and they ate it all, I feed sweet feed though so if you feed pellets it may take a little longer.

OK....thank you! I'm on day 4. She seems to be eating it better but still a little finicky.

Hey There, Can anyone post a pic as to what this stuff looks like and how much you feed!  I find that I have a ultimate picky eater...   I do soak alfafa pellets and add to her feed so I can disguise a bit.   Thanks!!

You start off with the ADR paste twice a day and do fish oil factor twice a day as well. Then when you finish the paste per the directions you start the ADR powder and fish oil factor. It has a little sheet/card in the box that tells you how much to give of each pending the day you are on.

I'm past the ADR paste and just giving the ADR powder and the Fish Oil Factor. My mare does not like the FOF at all but have found that if I put some oil on it and mix it all up then she will eat it all without any problem. I took pics the first day I started her on it and plan on getting some more pics this week.

I was curious about this too. But After looking up the ingredients. ADR is probiotics and the fish oils is basically flax/omegas. I bet you can diy with other products a lot cheaper. But if your not a diy person this makes it simple I guess. Jmho

We had great success with this product on my daughters rodeo horse. She was getting horrible at the gate, not clocking like she should and just didn't look like she should. Within 1 week of starting the Stride, we saw vast improvement. Made a believer out of me. By the end of the 21 day program she was a completely different mare. <3

So I'm about 3 weeks into this trial. At this point I would not suggest anyone with a picky eater to buy this. My mare went off her grain when I started the fish oil, I feed pellets so I added vegetable oil as a binder and she ate it for a little over a week, now she is back off her grain. She will eat about half and that's it. I've contacted Stride about the situation so maybe they can give me some insight on what is going on.
