If money wasnt a question - what would you say was the hotel to stay at to be at the centre of the most action? I realize that there are different opinions of action IE South Point VS MGM lets say... but what hotel would you say give you the most actions and centre of the "nfr rodeo".

Mirage.

2nd would be MGM. Its a close race, but they have so many other events going on too, where as Mirage is ALL RODEO!

We really like Cosmopolitan Hotel. Awesome restaurants and great rooms.

It depends on what's most important to your experience. We stayed at the MGM for awhile last year and I wouldn't do it again. It might not be bad if you planned to stay there the whole time, but it's such a pain to get in and out of there if you plan on travelling around, shopping, etc. (especially with your own vehicle) The South Point may not be super close to everything, but at least you can park, get your car easily, not pay for parking, etc. I enjoy being at the South Point but the roping has made it really tough to get rooms there. I just ran at the All In and so we stayed at the Orleans, it's also pretty easy for parking and getting in and out since it isn't on the strip.

BUT if you're not going to have your own vehicle, your experience will be a lot different and you might prefer being more in the middle of everything.
