| Proverbs 13:1 A wise son heeds his father's instructions, but a scoffer does not Lord to rebuke. A man shall eat by the fruit of his mouth, but the soul of the unfaithful feeeds on violence. He who guards his mouth perserves his lie, but he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction. REST in Jesus' righteousness; it is His gift to you. The psalmist tells, us, "Delight yourself also in the Lrod, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light and your justice as the noonday. Psalm 37:4-7. When we desire Jesus, He becomes our 'tree of life' Proverbs 13:12 Every desire of our hearts is satisfied in Him. What are we to do while we wait for His desire to be fulfilled in us? We are to rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him. However, resting in the Lord is not the same as being lazy. V 4 The soul of a lazy man desires has nothing, but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich. The soul of a lazy person has desires but is NEVER satisfied... Rest in the knowledge that Christ IS AT WORK IN YOU...but work with diligence in ALL your assignments for HIS GLORY. We must concern ourselves first with His righteous work IN us before we consider our righteous work. For we are His workmanship, not the other way around. For it is WITH God ALL things ARE POSSIBLE Matthew 19:26. Father God, guide me today to DO ALL things that will bring GLORY and HONOR TO You...AMEN |
