I found a new trailer I like - it's at the dealer so anything can be added/changed if we buy it. What are your MUST HAVES?!

RAMP  if you ever have an injured horse you need to haul to the vet... the ramp is a Godsend ... it was today for my laminitic boy ... made loading and unloading so  much less painful on him

For living quarters, seperate toilet/shower, central heat/cooling, larger refrigerator that runs on both gas and electric.  Electric jack & mangers.

Location: in the ozone

Horse area:  insulated walls & roof.  Flow through top of partitions.  7 1/2' tall (gives you more head room in the GN bed too).  Drop down butt door(s).  Fans at butt side.  8' wide with mangers.  Ramp - both for horses' ease AND for you to reach saddles on top position & hanging tack.  Fold up step on the escape door - if you use the first stall for storage or "mud room", that is really nice. Stud panel.  And if you do use it for that, a way to latch it from the inside when you are going in.  Werm flooring.

LQ.  8' wide for sure.  I prefer couch, but many prefer the dinette.  Large fridge & freezer.  Ducted AC & heat with thermostat.  Full bathroom.  Closet on floor vs just in the nose so you don't have to climb into the bed everytime you need some clothes.  Steps of some sort into bed.  Door from bathroom to 1st stall.  "Pocket door" on bathroom so you don't have a swinging door in the way.  Love my slide out but with 8' wide, I could easily do without.  Awning.  Fold up step at LQ door.  If you like to watch TV, that it is placed so you can sit at your dinette or on the couch & watch it w/o having to twist around, etc.

Hydraulic jacks (I prefer 2 so you can level the trailer better).  Generator with remote start.  Roof rack - the ones w/the covers are really nice.  I like to have hooks on the outside above the tie hooks to hang hay bags higher vs on the tie ring to help prevent horses getting tangled up in it.

These are all great suggestions! The trailer has everything except insulated roof (hay pod covered ALMOST all of the horse part though), fans, and extra tie hooks. I'll add the fans and tie hooks if we get this one!!!!!

and cameras. :)

I would love to add cameras to mine down the road.

You can never have enough tie hooks, but make sure they place them in the support beams and not just anywhere.

Outside spot lights where you tie your horses so you can see to saddle and do other things.
