Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | Is any body worried about this virus hitting the states hard? Do they even know how this got started? This is on Face the Nation talking with Cui Tianiki the Chinese Ambassador.. Really interesting to listen to.

| I'm keeping a close eye but not trying to get too worked up over it. This is one of those moments I'm extra glad I homeschool my kids, especially Jacob with his immune system. There are so many sick kids going to schools around here a few of them had to close to stop the sickness from spreading any further. Not related to coronavirus I dont believe, but just a nasty strain of a flu like virus.

| Ok so there are many who have it on a cruise ship docked in japan. Some are Americans. Does this mean the Americans ate the same bats? |

| You mean cats?? Lol! Sorry ... but gross either way. I guess I just need to sit down and watch the latest news and see what's going on. How are so many sick then? Last I heard it's more deaths than SARS now. |

Follow the CDC website and you will see correct and most updated information regarding the coronavirus as well as any other disease or virus. There is only one case of human to human transmission. All the deaths in China are due to them eating bats and other animals that are not free from diseases and not preparing them properly.
I thought this was a airborn virus? I didnt think it came from eating something. I'll have to go read on it a bit more, just curious.. |

Location: North Central Iowa Land of white frozen grass | There is a older couple from England I think on YouTube that are on the cruise ship in the Taiwan port. One of the first questions they were asked is did you go swimming in the ship's pool. We are being deliberately lied to by the government about this. |

It litterly says on the CDC webpage "sustained person-to-person spread in the community is occurring in China. Person-to-person spread has been reported outside China, including in the United States and other countries" |

Location: East Texas | CDC has to push some disease or the other every couple of years to keep their funding up. The govt. just released $10BILLION to fight the coronavirus. Yes, 800 have died world wide, but 60,000 died in the US alone from the flu last year. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | The flu is a far worst threat then the coronavirus for us here in the United States. Just was wondering how people were reacting to this new virus to us here in the states, but the way I have read its been around for a long time in other older countrys. The flu has been shutting down schools and business's. Just glad we have places like the CDC and others to keep us up updated on what is out there. I noticed the other day that face maskes were flying off the shelves in stores and running out of them so that got me to thinking more about the coronavirus. |

Location: Randolph, Utah | We leave for a cruise on Saturday. My friend just sent a text asking if the rest of the group was worried. It's on my mind but I'm not too worried. The one gal going with us almost died from Flu A a few years ago so I'm more concerened for her. I've got lysol spray and clorox wipes packed to wipe down the seats and trays on the flights. It's not great but I'm not going to cancel my trip over it. |

Wipe all you want but the air is recirculated throughout the aircraft LOL . As soon as you wipe, someone could cough 20 rows behind you and you would have to wipe again. This brings up the Ehv1 virus from couple years ago and everyone was spraying down their stalls at barel races to prevent their horses from getting it. My vet just laughed and said a horse 5 stalls down could cough and it won't do any good. Either go or don't go was her advice to me. |

Man I sure would not want to get stuck on one of those cruise ships if somebody does come up sick, then the whole ship will be put under quarantine for 2 weeks. |
