I think Creepy Joe will be the one they select. Until they slide someone else in.  All this nonsense with his gaffes may be genuine or not. Could be they are setting up his bowing out at the last minute.  But they know he can't win against President Trump. In fact, nothing they have can win unless they do some MAJOR cheating.

But one thing has become very clear to me and should have to anyone with any awareness at all.  For all their BS about this country being a democracy (it's not! It's a constitutional republic. Learn the difference.), blah, blah, blah, yadda that they give lip service to when it suits them; we should all be aware the party of the socialists/communists is anything but democratic.  They have (to quote Cryin' Chuckie) 6 ways from Sunday to screw their own voters over. They can and will do anything they want no matter how the voters vote.  The party is a corporation. Just like the Federal Reserve is a corporation. Being that, they don't have to do anything WE the people want.  While we were sleeping there was a coup over the people.  Don't get me wrong I don't trust republicans from today to tomorrow. Action talks, BS walks. The ones that are RINO's are just as despicable as the dems. But we need the ones that are not obviously in the tank for the dems, to at least have enough spine to pull us back from the edge before we have to get into a shooting rebellion.

I'm thinking that Bloomy was thrown into the waters just long enough to take away delegates from Bernie.  I sure wouldn't put it past them at all.  I agree that the running mate will be a biggie but I still think that Trump will trump them as long as we the people don't get lax and take his winning for granted and don't show up at the polls.  I'm still thinking that there a still lots of closset Trump supporters out there.
