| Blessed to be a blessing...words that should prompt us to be a blessing to others. In return it blesses us. The psalmist made the metaphor of a farmer plowing his fields, sowng his seeds, and reaping a harvest as a picture of Israel's responsibility to bless others. Psalm 126:6 He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing , shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, brings his sheaves with him. As believers we have experienced deliverance from sin. The bondage of sin NO LONGER exists. Now we have a RESPONSIBILITY to lift our voices in PRAISE and to SHARE the gospel Psalm 127 reminds us, howeer, that we are to LIVE our lives EMPOWERED by the Lord. ONLY then will we affectively make an impact on others and our children. Psalm 127:1 UNLESS the Lord builds the hous, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is vain for your to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrrows; for so He gives His beloved sleep. Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but shall speak with their enemies in the gate. Father God, guide us to DO ALL things that will bring GLORY and HONOR TO You AMEN for it is WITH GOD ALL THIINGS ARE POSSIBLE Matthew 19:26
