So we did clean up at the cemeteries here in our small town Sunday, everyone pitched in and helped, mowers and weed eaters everywhere.  My husband takes our blue heeler with him everywhere, she is good mannered, doesn’t bother stuff, or anyone.  So at the East Cemetery she kind of follows around and looks at stuff then goes and lays down under the truck while everyone is mowing and weed eating, basically sleeps the entire time.  So we get done and then go to the West Cemetery, (same people, same equipment), when the dog gets out of the truck she immediately starts to growl, she isn’t looking at anyone just across the cemetery, she barks like she is fixing to bite someone, then all of a sudden lets out a yelp and then whimpers, she takes off (she has never been in the cemetery before or the other cemetery) she finds the gate and gets out of the cemetery, she sits outside and refuses to come back in the cemetery when called.  We had to park the truck outside the cemetery and put her in the cab because she was shaking so bad.

It was weird how she acted.  She wasn't not going back in that cemetery.  I've heard people say that animals can sense things, when something is around.  I'm starting to believe it.

I take mine with me when I visit my grandpa's grave, because its small & out in the country & I just like her with me for protection. But she's always super uncomfortable there & anywhere else she's fine. She'll get as close to me as she can & she's just nervous the whole time. Always looking around on high alert. Anywhere else if I sat on the ground with her she'd be napping. They know

What was so strange is that when we were at the East Cemetery she was fine and relaxed, but when we went over to the West Cemetery, she was not having it, and both cemeteries are pretty, they are nice and well kept, have a nice fence all the way around them.  No trees surrounding the areas to make them feel uncomforatble or anything.

Raises all kinds of questions in your mind doesn't it?  Sometimes I watch the paranormal supposedly real shows on TV and go pish-posh but still these folks sound pretty convincing.  Always amazes me how long they stay and contend with their dead and angry visitors.  I couldn't stay.

Well I read your story to Jacob while we were watching his little brothers baseball practice and he said obviously a bad or angry spirit kicked the dog and scared him .... Haha... obviously....

No, they are about the same age.  The furthest I have seen stones in is the 1800's.  The only reason I have heard for the two cemeteries is because of religion, this is a very small town maby 300 people.  The cemeteries are about a mile from each other on the same road.  One is at one end of the road and the other at the other end of the road.  I've seem my dog go after some mean bulls before and never back down, but she was scared to death at that cemetery.

Sooo, what religions?! I'm sorry but it kinda tickles my funny bone about the different religion and which one upsets her! This could be epic! I'll apologize right now for my irreverence. I am a stay at home grandma and sometimes it doesn't take much for me to be amused.

I truly believe in ghosts. They get a bad wrap from the movies and TV. I think most are friendly but I am sure there are some out there that are ticked off. Maybe they met with a violent death. I live in NE TX and there are a lot of old buildings around here that are supposed to be haunted. I started believing in ghosts whe I spent the summer with my grandmother in her home out on Long Island. She said there was a ghost in the house that liked to throw things around at night. It definitely did. No one died there so have no idea where it came from. We would get up in the morning and put stuff back where it came from. Took a little getting used to the thuds all night!

I agree it is interesting.  From what I have been told is they are German Cemeteries.  That most everyone burried there are full blood Germans, or descendants of Germans.  Where I lived before we had Indian Cemeteries that had been locked off from people going in and looking for things.  That one was neat, I have seen some real scary cemeteries but nothing about this one stands out to me.  My grandmother always talked about spirits, but she was a cherokee indian, she would really get onto us when we went to the cemetery if we got out of line. She said we would make the spirits mad if we upset them while the rested.
