Location: Texas | My granddaughter has a problem with her jeans riding up on her boots when she runs. It is driving her crazy. Does anyone else have this problem and how do you fix it?

Location: Kansas | I don't know if it adds to her problem but I would say her fender length is short. I always loved Martha Josey's analogy that if you sit up straight in your saddle, look down past your knee.....you should be able to see the toe of your boot......otherwise too short. I'm thinking maybe her jeans would even hang differently. |

Agree, get her on the correct stirrup length and it should help them stay down. |

| What kind of pants are they? They look like they're too short. I'm a 31-32 inch inseam gal on a regular day, but I ride in 34 (if I have to) or 36 inch inseam pants otherwise they hike up. Wandering around in them gets to be a chore sometimes without boots on, but the hike doesn't happen! When she gets on, if you can't get different pants, have her stand up and pull the pant legs down as far as you can. Won't be a permanent fix, but will help some. I will agree that the stirrups look short as well. I'd add at least one hole to them, depending on how they're spaced. |

Location: Somewhere else | I'm 6" tall and rarely find jeans that the length is as long as I want. When I do find them, I always buy several pairs. But when I'm riding or at the barn I put the inside part of my jeans in my boots so they don't get as dirty and not dragging the ground. The outside is still hanging down so if they do ride up you can't really tell it. |

| They used to make elastic straps with alligator buckles/snaps that you hooked to your pants and under the boot in front of the heel. |

The pants are Cruel Girl and size 3L. She is only 5'2" so I thought they would be long enough. Maybe not. |

That would be great if you have a picture. Having a hard time picturing it in my mind. |

Location: Some where I haven't left yet | I just want to know where to get the women's jeans that are long enough. They used to make a really nice fitting Q-Baby Ultimate/booty up. But of Course they stopped. As far as the OP, stirrups too short, jeans too short. JMHO. |

Location: Windoming | I just want to add that I have the same problem with certain jeans. In my case, pants are long enough, and stirrups are definitely not too short. The fabric of some jeans make them ride up no matter what. Once in a while I forget and wear them.....Absolutely hate them. |

This! ^^^^^^ Your riding jeans should 'stack'. |

Location: LouLouVille, OK | The cut makes a lot of difference too... I find that the actual boot cut doesn't do this as much, the straight leg is horrible for wadding up and riding up. I am not sure on the trouser... but maybe try a different brand... I don't find any CG or Cinch jeans fit me right... I agree on the stirrups being to short :) |
