No, when we are/were in burn ban these past years that never stoped the City of Seguin from having their Fireworks.. I'm guessing its due to this Coronvirus cra* maybe? Just crazy for taking this away from us, we always looked forward to this evening, we always parked along highway 46 and 467 way off the highway back behind Max Starcke park and sit in our lawn chairs with the grandchildern and watch the fireworks and eating hamburgers.

Most towns around us are still having their fireworks but people are to stay in their cars (or near it). And they are not having any concession stands to avoid contact with others. I am lucky ..... I am out of town 5 miles but can still set on my deck and see the fireworks from town AND the Country Club....but the mosquitos are terrible in this humidity.

I feel sure my neighbors will have their regular shindig and burn a few thousand $$$$$.  We will get to.sit outside half the night and try to protect our round bales and very very dry meadow.  The dogs and part of the horses will be terrified.  Such a fun holiday..

I love the fireworks that the citys puts on, BUT I HATE the fireworks thats sold to the puplic, I just hate them, they cause so much trouble and stress to the animals and us, they cause fires and we have lost round bales to them threw the years. But I have not heard one pop/blast this time around out here as of yet. Used to people would ask us if they could come out here to shoot off fireworks, they like the open pastures and think thats the perfect place to do fireworks WRONG!!!

I swear we have some neighbors that spend $1000+ on fireworks. They sure don't seem to be the sort who have that kind of disposable income. Each to their own, I guess.  I just hate that they seem to send them directly over our pasture, so we end up putting the horses in the barn overnight on the 3rd - 5th. Same with New Years.  I actually think the horses get used to it after about 15 minutes, but my wife insists and I just keep my yap shut and follow orders.

My neighbors do the 4th, New years, birthdays and even when his mother died.  We are talking about senior citizens.  I just don't get it.  We have a great display put on by the city which is 3 miles to the east.  Also a huge display over the lake 3 miles to the west.  Also a giant fireworks outlet a mile east that have been advertising their wares every night for two weeks

I have the next door neighbors from hell. They shoot my horses, get the fireworks out as soon as my butt hits the saddle even if it is April 10. I gave up riding at the house years ago. One year it was so nice and quiet on July 4th. It was so peaceful.  The big July 4th barrel race was the next day on July 5th so it could be all weekend. I go to the barrel race and get home about 4:30. I had to catch a horse to open the front gate. Caught the horse and my neighbor is hiding behind a building throwing fireworks over the fence. Could not let the horse go because I had opened the gate. That horse ran all over me and my horses are all big. Can't do anything about it because I had no proof that he did that. Didn't mention that my neighbor and his son who is an adult are both felons. The son is a felon for beating his wife. Nice folks.

Dang, those are the neighbors from he!!.... ours are just plain ignorant.... bunch of nitwit city folk that want to live out in the country.... we just keep them in their run-in stalls with a bunch of hay and hope for the best. Just check on them a couple of times.

Hope everyone stays safe, and happy 4th!

Our neighbors are thankfully across a thick shelterbelt to our south but start at dark blowing things up and are still going strong at 2:00 in the morning.  Can't imagine the expense involved but there is no sleeping unless you're deaf.

Its really sad how neighbors dont think about anybody near them at all when it comes to fireworks, its just all about them showing off how much money they spent to blow it all up in a matter of a few hours and days, lol..Who cares about the animals around them, these type of neighbors really suck..

Yep, we had a great ole stray cat adopt us a couple of months ago.  He never leaves the barn (rarely) but last night he was nestled in our garage.  He was scared.

Those men are all attractive in their younger pictures before the massive hair situation!!   And y'all know I'm not opposed to facial hair (uh hello Rip), but the Robertsons have a touch much for me!!  Sorry, off topic!
