My husband watched President Trump yesterday and he was saying that if the mail voiting happens that will delay the results and if the results are delayed til January the Speaker of the House will become President and we will never truly know who would have won. So actually it doesnt matter who is on the democrat running for president bc they want Pelosi President anyways. and they gotta cheat to do it!!!! I knew there was so much more to the reason behind the mail in voting but just didn't understand til yesterday! So basically and I had a feeling all along that Biden was just a smoke screen along with his partner! I dont know how or who the mail in voting gets to come to play? Do we vote on it? or does the House? I dont know politics very well at all! I wish I knew more now! So sorry for the stupid question that I should already know! |

You got all the crazy made up stories from dan bonggong and the rest of Faux News. Now you got yhe Post Office to be afraid of. Bottom line, it doesn't matter what it is, trump will screw it up. Even his people say he's "unfit for public office". And that this is what 3 and haf years of "immature leadership" brought us. That's stright from republicans, not from democrats or the deep state or antifa, straight from inner circle GOP'ers. The commies wanted trump, they got him and they want to keep him. Putin is very unhappy that people have caught onto his puppet. Remember the great plan trump had for the goverment shutdown? You know, he was brilliant, he was letting it go on so he could permanently fire those workers and reduce the size of government. It was "brilliant" according the same idiots, dan bonggong, rush dumbaugh, laura ingrate, Q-Anon, Faux News, etc, that are pushing this latest bogeyman that is the US Postal Service. The only amazing thing is that some still fall for it. |

What liberal has told you, or anyone, that they want to get rid of law enforcement? What democrat has ever proposed such a bill? Where does this nonsense come from? How about "drain the swamp"? Lets talk about false promises. Unless the orange one meant trumpers going to jail? But then he will let them out. He's laying the groundwork to pardon Flynn, he commuted Stone, he will either commute or pardon Bannon and Cohen. But he's tough on crime, he got Aunt Betty off the mean streets. The commies wanted trump, the commies got trump. So called conservatives should be happy with that. And it seems they are? |

If the results are delayed because of mail in voting all elections will be in limbo that inclides the house and the senate. Nancy's term ends on 1/20/2021 same as the presdient the house would have to reelect her to be in line. More than likely this would go to the SCOTUS same as Gore V Bush. |

| @ jd&ez: The Democrat Party has a rich history of engagement in voter fraud. Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr. bought the presidency for JFK. LBJ of Texas and Huey P. Long of Louisiana are a couple of additional frauds. The USPS labor union has long supported Demo candidates. Of cousrse they wouldn't do anything crooked would they? If they can steal money orders and valuables from the envelopes and packages they're responsible for shipping, I'm sure they can figure out a way to profile Republican votes. As a resident of Kentucky, you must be a closeted Lefty. Most of the Kentuckians I've met have strong, patriotic values. Trump 2020 |

Everything is pretty much online anyways. I dont have a problem with post office. or the workers. It just that this doesnt make sense on mailing votes in. There is a reason.... |

Location: Slipping down the slope of old age. Boo hoo. | The issue with mail-in voting, i.e. sending a ballot to everyone listed on voting rolls, is that most all voting rolls are not accurate. There are many deceased people on the list, people who have moved, etc. All those folks would have a ballot mailed to the last address of record. This means those ballots could be voted by whomever is at the receiving address. Most people do not realize that their voting registration is NOT updated when they move, nor is there registration transferred to their new voting address (such as a new city or state), and your registration is NOT removed when you die. The only way to know if your registration is correct is if YOU take the iniative to check on it and correct it yourself. Most people never think about keeping their registration updated and accurate. THIS is the issue with universal mail-in voting. With an absentee voting request, you have to prove who you are to receive the ballot -- you make the request. Universal mail-in voting is an invitation for a HUGE amount of fraud. And on the post office issue of mailboxes being removed..... all of our community placed mailboxes in my town were removed years ago -- during the Obama administration. If you want to mail something, you go to the post office. So -- removing mailboxes has been going on for years as the postal service struggles to cut cost and become financially sound. The postal service has been losing money for years and years and years. It has a tremendous pension burden -- if you want to retire in great shape -- work for the postal service. The pension burden is huge due to very poorly negotiated union contracts throughout the years. It's a dumpster fire. |

I don't have much of a problem with mailboxes being removed but the removal of sorting machines IS a BIG problem..... Since DeJoy became the Postmaster General, a couple of months ago, FIVE (of 30) sorting machines have been removed from Memphis. Memphis is a hub of mail for FOUR states. Each machine was capable of sorting 38K pieces of mail EACH hour .. Do the math....Those five machines "could" sort 190 THOUSAND pieces of mail EACH HOUR.....THAT is the the problem! |

I know at my job we get hand me down machines and job should have bought new machines longtime ago but never in the budget so they keep fixing but parts are getting to be obselete on the machines we have. Maybe machines broke and cant fix or not in budget they cant buy new. Im sure machines like that is crazy high! Not taking up for him bc I dont know the situation. I just know what we struggle here. I work at casino. My husband works for the city and is head of dept. and he struggles everyday bc city always says not in budget. His hands are tied alot of times and he gets so frustrated! and he has to deal with DEQ too. So I can relate if that is the case for the Postmaster General. Unless he just removed just because. I would think he would have to give justification. In our company we cannot remove any machinery even if broken without it being logged and why and it has to go in front of board.

This is somewhat local to me so I get news reports out of Memphis ...... the workers in that Post Office hub say that the machines were in perfect working order .... and the local union leaders say changes made within the last 30 days are tying postal workers’ hands. They say there’s mail sitting at some facilities since LAST month. The "new" Postmaster General is a heavy donor of the Republican party ...... if you want to make it "political" ...... DeJoy has contributed more than $1.2 million to the Trump Victory Fund, and millions more to Republican Party organizations and candidates, according to Federal Election Commission records. He was also in charge of fundraising for the Republican National Convention. |

Yes, there are states using mail-in ballots, however, those states are doing a great job of keeping their voter registration rolls current and up-to-date. I do not have an issue using mail-in if the voter registration rolls are updated and correct. I have a huge problem with those that are not. |

The story goes that DeJoy is attempting to cut postal losses. That does not track with removing sorting machines. The mail has to be sorted and those machines have to be the most cost effective way to get that done. Imagine the cost of man power to sort that kind of volume. Another of his ideas is to lease out postal space. Makes no sense since the post office rarely owns their facilities. USPS leases space from individuals/entities who built to suit. I know for a fact that their leases to not have a provision for subletting Having managed a large portfolio of those facilities, I know up close and personal how unprofessionally the PO operatates. But can a political appointee as have the conflict free judgement to fix their problems? Doubtful. |
