I'm sure most of ya'll have seen the video going around social media. She was tazed also for resisting the officer, who wasnt wearing a mask at the time either. I knew it would be just a matter of time. I personally do not wear a mask into MOST places.... however, if I'm asked to leave because of it, I do... peacefully....I understand they have this mandate in place and if I chose not to follow,  I know I can be asked to put one on or leave. So far, I've only been asked to put 1 on one time and I just stepped out of the restaurant. We go to a bunch of baseball games for both my boys and also their football games which are NOT affiliated with the schools. There are no posted signs that face coverings are required .. I'd say 95% of the people attending do not wear a mask. There are those that do and it works... there's no issue, no drama and everyone minds their own business about it. Some chose to socially distance while others gather together in big groups and watch.. some coaches wear masks, others dont, some umpires do, where others do not. I've even seen some players wearing one while playing... is it a problem for anyone??? Nope... does it cause a bunch of drama if they aren't wearing one??? Nope.... This is the way it should be everywhere... 

CDC admitted the other day I believe that how they said the virus spreads was not true from the beginning. I don't know the details but that was the gist of it. 

There's also a video from Latah County, Idaho of church members standing outside singing hymns but some not wearing masks.  Three were being handcuffed and taken away.  One of the guys was on FOX this morning.  He said their county has had 392 cases and no deaths.  They felt like being outdoors was plenty of precaution.  I agree with him.  He also said the cops hated having to do this but again.... likely a Dem mayor.

On the video she was sitting in the bleachers with her small kids away from everyone else... so social distancing.... with her family. OUTSIDE. Apparently the school wasnt the one who called the law, a nosey Karen did from the reports I've read. Yes, she resisted the officer and did not leave or put on a mask when directed to.... I get all that but I truly think this was taken way too far. I do not know if she was actually arrested or charged with anything at this point. All I could think about was her poor kids watching all this take place. It seems extremely unjust and quite honestly scares the snot outta me its headed that way. 

BUT...if we are to continue to argue with other factions that they would not get shot or suffer at the hands of police, if they just "comply" and do as they are asked, then sort out the rest later:  that needs to go both directions.   Had she put on a mask if it was the edict, ever how wrong that may be, to have mask on to be able to attend the game, then the thing to do was grudgingly say OK, and put on the mask, at least while authorities were looking.

My opinion.

Joe Biden is doing a lovely job of trying to keep the country muzzled by thinking he's setting an example.  To me he's either very frightened of catching the virus and dying or just forewarning us that if he wins the election we better all plan on stern mandates for masking up.  

I see people wearing masks that are so dirty and crumpled it's disgusting.  Or wearing them on their chin and then pulling them up.  Around here most businesses request that you wear them.  It's hard to breathe.

If your city, county, state, whatever requires that you wear a mask then WEAR A STUPID MASK. It's really not that big of a deal. Am I going to call and tattle when other people are not? No. Will I wear mine when I go to the grocery store and mind my own business? Yes. Do they work? I dont know, but the way I look at it is that worst case I look silly wearing a mask and have to deal with remembering to put it on, and it is uncomfortable. Best case? It helps SOME and we can get all this overwith soon! 

My opinion.. and you know what they say about opinions... Everyone has one and that's ok!

I know the schools around here have made it very clear thru social media and flyers sent home that in order to attend the games you will be required to wear a face covering while on the premises. They only sell so many tickets as well to adhere to the guidelines,  whatever they are now.... so yes, she knew she was supposed to wear one while there. No matter where you stand on the mask issue, if its required and you do not wear one because you dont believe in wearing one, you must be prepared to deal with being asked to put one on or be asked to leave. Unfortunately.... it's just the beginning. I do not chose to wear one and again if I'm asked to put one on or leave, I leave quietly. It's just sad to me that this is what's going on in our country. And for the record, I think masks are a waste of time and shouldn't be forced upon anyone. 

Yep you are absolutely entitled to your opinion and your choice to wear one and that's how it should be, and same goes for everyone who chooses not to wear one. Quite honestly if you're worried about catching the rona out in public, wear a mask and stay away from crowds...I do not rely on other people to keep me safe and healthy... I take that into my own hands. 

See thats the thing though, coronavirus is permanent. It's never going away. There is no over with soon, we now have 2 options. Go back to normal life and hope for the best, or how we live now is permanent. There is no in between. I prefer not to wear a mask and I do not socially distance unless I'm standing in a checkout line. We still go to barrel races with 300-400 people, we go to cookouts/parties on other weekends with big groups of friends, and still maintain normal life. None of us have gotten covid yet. My health is no one elses responsibility, I assume the same for others. You don't want to get it, stay isolated. When my card gets called, it doesn't matter if corona virus exists or not, it's called. We're all predetermined to die at a specific time and date from whatever God has chosen, I'd prefer not to live the rest of my life limited by a virus with a +99% survial rate

The hysteria and political divide surrounding it perpetuated by the media is what I meant by "get this overwith soon", not Covid-19. 

Schultheiss said the venue hosted 300 fans for the game Wednesday, with only two individuals, the alleged mother and grandmother in the videos, who were “having issues with compliance.”

“This rule has been in effect since we were told we could play,” said Schultheiss. “Everyone that came through ticketing tonight was reminded, we had regular announcements over the PA reminding you that mouths and noses needed to be covered and we had signs at the bathrooms.”

Both Venderlic and Hampton asked that all fans remember what the rules are, with the focus and goal to allow students to play.

“The governor and the (Ohio) health department have made it very clear that masks are required indoor and outdoor at sports facilities. They’re just part of the expectation,” said Venderlic. “They’re one of the requirements the OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association) brought down and said that if we’re going to be able to have fall sports we’re going to have to social distance and we’re going to have to wear masks.”

I would suggest you watch a show on HULU called the " Handmaids Tale" and get back to us.. Just the first epidose of the first season will do. No need to watch the whole thing. 

One of the baseball parks we frequent doesn't have permanent bathrooms  yet so there are about 30 space shuttles available (porta potty) they are absolutely disgusting and downright violent at times.... the way i see if i haven't gotten sick yet ... I probably have a pretty darn good immune system. They do have a little hand sani wash station that's always conveniently empty. I bring my own anyway, always have always will.

No she was not in inviolation of our jackass Governor's mandate The guy lies everyday. The woman was more than six feet away from any one thats not a family member wich is what is stated in the mandate. She also told the cop who did not have his mask on that she had a medical issue why she could not wear one which also allowed in the mandate. He did not care. There is a law suit coming and I am sure she is going to get a big check.

Good. I hope she comes out way ahead and doesn't slink away quietly. But I'm afraid they may still be able to get her with resisting an officer. All in all, it should have been handled differently on both sides.
