I'm so disappointed to be honest in my favourite tv shows. Was so looking forward to the start of the new seasons and so far everyone of them is spinning covid into the story front and Center. I get enough friggen covid in real life, fb, news, etc I'd really like to turn on a tv show and be entertained and not lectured about covid. Ok thanks for letting me rant. When does the Nfr start? Hopefully they won't focus on covid. ????

Thats why I stay away from any TV shows, LOL.. And try to stay away from watching any news anymore, I just wait for the weather, but thats gotton depressing too now adays since we have not gotton any real rain this whole year.

That is why I watch reruns of older sitcoms.  

About all I watch on TV anymore are cooking shows on Create and old westerns on Grit.  We have an antenna...don't pay for a bunch of junk channels we won't watch anyway.

I was just saying this last night.  It seems that all that is discussed are the troubles that are in the world.  It's ok to incorporate in the story line but in this day it would be nice to give people time away.  About ready to stop watching This is Us as this the primary story line.   So yes you are not alone!

Most sitcoms now are filled with political rhetoric usually leaning left.  I love to watch old movies and old westerns like The Virginian.  TCM, classic movies, is a treasure chest of great old movies, some not so great but most are pretty darn good. 

I watch FOX pretty faithfully though.  I want to know what Joe Dementia is up to.  It affects all of us and especially our jobs.

Yep. Greys looks like it will too. So nice they get paprs and n95, meanwhile I get broken ones or ones used to mask fit someone else....

I was just talking about this to my husband. This Is Us is the only show we are really watching that has new episodes and it is driving me insane. I want to know the bigger story line ends but I am not thrilled about how this season is going. I would have liked to know what the plan was before Covid impacted the season....

About the only TV Show I watch is Yellowstone.  It's not on, so it's movies only for us.  Once in awhile we'll throw in baseball or golf and that's about it. 

Many of the shows that involve cops are going to have story lines about Black Lives Matter and cops doing wrong.  I won't be able to watch any of them either.  I agree that I will just keep watching old sitcom's and a lot of rodeos.

I haven't watched the Chicago shows yet - but it seems I might be disappointed! ugh - I noticed on NCIS: New Orleans - the mask/COVID stuff - we're living it - I don't need to watch more of it on my "fake" shows for entertainment.

FOX seems to be very slowly veering left.  I hate that.

I have switched to NewsMax for my news source, but return to Fox News to watch Tucker and Laura Ingraham.

Definitely not alone.  I was very disappointed last night, but have noticed that trend for a year or two now.  I rarely watch TV, if I do it's Netflix, last night reminded me why.

I like it........ I figure I will just do a little stirring this morning over my coffee.  Heck I can take it.

I think there are lots of channels to watch reruns you have Hallmark, Lifetime and CMT just plays old movies.  I miss the videos.  

I think it shows creativity and face it TV has always mirrored real life.  I don't watch many cop shows so I don't know how the are handling it.  However I enjoyed Grey's Anatomy in 16 years they have covered a lot of subjects.  I kind of enjoyed watching others be upset with this situation and seeing how they cope, even if it was make believe.  How could they do a show right now and not address it?  I think trying to film and produce would be very hard to do right now.

I also think it would make it easier for little kids to comprehend.  If all people on TV are like old times IMO it makes the world of masks and staying at home a lot harder for kids to understand,  I feel so sorry for kids being stuck in, not so  much country kids (my hunting grandson loves it) but I can't imagine what kids in apartments in cities are going through.

I've been watching the PBR Finals.  Five of their riders who were eligible had to drop out because they tested positive for Covid.  One was sitting second for the top spot.  Makes me wonder if this might be a problem at the NFR.
