I have my shopping done:)i did something alittle different this year and bought 20 blankets for people in nursing homes that dont have any family.Alot of people get gifts from their families,so the ones that dont will now have their own special blankets to.A few nursing homes are doing window visits, but most homes are not allowing anyone in at all.

Im doing 2 prime ribs for dinner, mashed and scalloped potatoes, asparagus, and cheesecake and cookies for desert.

We will have 11 people here, and im looking forward to it.MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY

We always do a big breakfast & then have a pot of chili for those who spend the day.

Used to my mom always did Mexican food for Christmas. It was good since we had just had a big traditional meal for Thanksgiving.

I make snack trays ( cookies, apple bread & trail mix) & take them to the vets office, feed store & couple of other places. I will do that the end of this week.

In this season of Covid, they may not be able to accept them.

I think I'm pretty much done Christmas shopping. I need to wrap what I have to see if I've missed anyone.

I have no idea what we're doing food wise yet. Last year we did the big dinner on Christmas Eve and had leftovers and snacks Christmas day.

My family always did shrimp on Christmas Eve, we still do it but it's usually earlier in the week, my sister is a nurse and usually volunteers to work the holidays, so we usually celebrate before or after Christmas.

I'm still a little in shock we're only 10 days away from Christmas.
