Hey Ya'll!

Recently I purchased an almost 2yo mare. She has a great attitude, but doesn't coroperate with picking up her hooves. I've never had to deal with teaching a horse to pick hooves before, so what's the best way to go about teaching her to tolerate hoof picking?

Use a soft rope and teach one to give their feet.    This will help them with all aspects of foot work, and comes in handy when they are in a pinch with their feet so they don't panic.

It takes a little prep work with getting one used to the rope, as said in video.  There are several examples on youtube.
