Has been lifted... or will be Wednesday... I just saw the news on Facebook.  Also businesses can reopen at 100%. I've been so busy this morning with baseball lessons and picking up feed I hadn't been paying much attention.  This just made my day!! So happy to hear this!!

There are plenty of folks that are very unhappy about this but there are MORE who are elated ... if they still want to cover up, be my guest! You won't get any flak from me even though I received plenty from the pro maskers when I wouldn't wear one.

I hope Utah & Wyoming will follow! I highly doubt Utah will, our governor said last week he thinks we should have had a mandate earlier than we did.

I hardly wear one, but it would be nice to have the mandate lifted.

I flew a couple weeks ago and got thinking, I bet we wear masks for a long time when traveling :(

Joe Biden will be in mourning.  Poor ole dude.  Muzzling the population is tops on his agenda.

My question is - do cities in Texas have the authority to still enforce a mask mandate?  They do in GA.

I do not know the answer to that specifically... but I do know that places of business can still require it just as the No shirts, No shoes, no service deal. We will see. Hopefully it will be across the board though and just allow it to be a choice instead of a requirement. Like it should have been from the beginning.

Either Blaze or Breitbart said the governor said we could not be prosecuted for not wearing the mask.

We have never had a mask mandate.  However, the individual cities/counties did.  And, they still continue to.  Some business's also.  Some are even chain restaurants.

We just chose where to go and spend our dollars.

We had a mask mandate here?  I never noticed...lol.  Timing seems a little odd. Maybe he is trying to take the focus off of the electical grid issues.

It is all so stupid. We were running in Ft Worth yesterday and while waiting in line to get a drink, no one was wearing a mask until they got to the register to place an order and then put one one.....

BTW, when did peaople start taking medical/health advice from politicians?  I am more likely to take political advice from a dr. than the other way around.

The Electrical Grid Issue combined with Abbott's 0% showing in CPAC's Straw Poll is what I have seen commented on, in regards to His sudden affection for Personal Freedom!

I hope so too.  I have only worn one twice.  Once when I was in the hospital and once during a job interview.  Otherwise, I flat refuse to wear one.  Plenty of data out there that says that cloth masks worn by the public are pretty much useless. Even my doctor said they are useless. Politicians are kind of like lemmings.  Once one does it the rest will follow.
