| I thought they divorced shortly after they got married. Mutual disagreements or something like that |

Location: California | According to Jess Lockwood on a podcast he was just on, his injury that happened not long after they got married altered his personality and he became an angry/mean person to be around. Shut himself in, wouldn't return anyone's phone calls or if they tried to do something nice for him he would pick a fight over it (including Hailey). He said it wasn't because he was too young when he got married, but that his injury altered him and he was angry. Then one day he woke up and realized all of the distruction he had caused (not just to Hailey, but even to his friends and parents) and called up his pastor to start changing his life around. |

| I don't want to sound rude but, WHO CARES !! I sure don't. For whatever reason they got divorced is really none of anyones buisness. And please don't go saying, well she is well known in rodeo. That doesn't matter. Give the girl some respect & privacy. I feel bad for all prof rodeo people. They are people like you & I & I doubt they like their personal lives talked about on BHW. |

| Well put! I myself would feel embarrassed if it was broadcasted on a highly trafficked website or at all. Privacy is a thing of the past and it's sad. People need to allow others their dignity and respect. |

| I will say I really admire how they both handled it. No airing of dirty laundry, just quietly putting their lives back together. |

Location: California | Few things 1) Jess talked about it on a podcast and said he was fine talking about it. I don't think people are wrong for discussing what they heard on a podcast that was made for people to listen to. I've heard non stop Meghan and Prince Harry talk since last Sunday. 2) Yes, this is a big board that anyone can read, but at the same time I still hear a lot of people talk about it amongst their friends and then their friends tell their friends and then their friends tell their acquaintances and so on. Just because people aren't posting it online doesn't mean they aren't contributing to the spread. 3) Fallon Taylor's personal life has been discussed a lot on here, from when she was going through a divorce during the NFR to when she addressed the rumors, a lot of people on here were still discussing it. And now that she's remarried I still see people take jabs at her relationship and make awful comments and ask if she's getting divorced again. So either the board doesn't talk about everyone's relationships or it has to acknowledge it picks and chooses.

So, because Fallon isn't a sweetheart she doesn't deserve the same privacy as Hailey? I usually agree with most things you say on this forum, but for me this is a hard no. It is complete BS you would have a double standard for how someone should be treated. And no, I am not a Flomie, but I can't agree with "because there is NO comparison between the two" who gives a hell what is said about Fallons personal life meanwhile Haileys must be protected.
But maybe this is just the board acknowledging it picks and chooses.

People deserves to be happy. I agree, I am old school so I like to see marriages last. Awhile ago Fallon did something to **** people off for and there was a thread on here (I'm old, can't remember what it was) and then people started talking about can't believe someone else married her or not shocked if they get a divorce. I'm paraphrasing. Either way, it was nasty and I didn't see anyone defending her private life. I love Hailey and I do not hate Fallon like a lot of people do, I was just using her as an example.

Location: Montgomery TX | I don't know why we assume it's our business what is going on in their personal life. Personally, if I were going thru something as painful as divorce I would prefer some privacy. I heard the podcast, but I've also listened to almost all of them and really enjoy most of them. I just feel that even though we are fans (or not) we should show a little respect for somebody's situation. I personally admire and applaud them both for keeping all the details out of the limelight and keeping it as private as possible! |
