I am not taking this vaccine period.

If anybody has to take the vaccine Dont use the Johnson & Johnson Vaccine, go to the Pfizer or Moderna's vaccine.

Taking or not taking the vaccine is your personal choice.

If there is a facility or service those running it have the option to exclude the unvaccinated if they choose.

Seems fair all around d to me.

I've had both doses of Pfizer. I made the decision to take it based on having asthma after having discussions with my allergist, cardiologist, pulmonologist and primary care physican. I am 65.  My husband has had both doses of Moderna. He is 72.

How it's made just made me cringe and feel sad.

I saw some things about it on Newsmax so looked it up and did'nt like the sound of it. It has alot to do with Religious beliefs. ( Some U.S. faith leaders express concern about J&J covid vaccines)  and saw this (New Michigan Law J&J recipients must be notified of stem cell use in Vaccine development, should be provided with information on the development of the vaccine.

I know this would not be a problem for some on here. But for me and my family it does.. The other two companys ( Pfizer or Moderna) develop the vaccine in a different way. But if you are in a pinch and cant get the other two then by all means do the J&J.

My husband & I took it for the same reasons.  Signed up within a day of each other but I got Pfizer and him Moderna.  Most of our friends have had one or the other so we are planning camping trips, trail rides and traveling.  So happy we can all eat together again.

I do worry about my teenage grandkids one who works in a grocery, and people who for whatever reason won't take the vaccine.  They may very well survive the virus but can they afford the hospital bill they may get from it.  I think many people have a lot of preexisting conditions they may not even know about.  For that very reason I will wear a mask if required, however my state is doing away with them.  I don't know that I would take the vaccine if I was 30 and still having kids, very hard decision.  I waited until most of my friends and older people went first. We are also ready to get back to normal and not be afriad of catching it from those who think it's just like the flu.  I know many people who have died from it and many who think it's nothing.

I will not fly or be in any big crowds.  Not so much because of Covid, it appears people are kind of crazy.  If I don't quit collecting puppies, I'm going to have to live in the guest house.   Said my husband as he left this morning.

Thanks, one of the guys here is reluctantly getting the J&J on Thursday.  I told him about your comment and that I'd ask.  I doubt the stem cell thing would be a deterrent for him though.

You do know that the vaccine doesn't keep you from getting Covid, that is supposed to only protect you from getting severe symptoms of Covid.

I would rather use the stem cell technology than a technology shown to be lethal in its entire past. Go find the study results from 1999 forward on mrna technology. One of the most promising technologies but one that killed almost all of its test subject since day one. I do not know what they did differently to get it to stop killing, but I don't trust an emergency approval for use.  J&J's shot is normal and typical vaccine development procedures. Developed in the same way as flu shots and pnemonia shots. Stem cells are used in a whole lot of treatments these days with amazing results. MRNA is not.

Yes I am very aware of that, I'm also aware chances of being hospitalized are greatly reduced.  Which is what I am hoping for.  I'm also aware that many people choose to use horse wormer. To each their own I'm sure they all have risks.  Life is full of choices.  I met a nice couple in FL just insisting I try the wormer protocol, they thought it worked wonders.  They had been eating wormer quite awhile.  Didn't even meet them horse camping, in motor home on the beach.  They did own horses from Columbus, OH.

Just an FYI - ivermectin is a relatively popular medication (for people) in many parts of the world for many things...   it is regularly used for river blindness, lymphatic filariasis and other Neglected Tropical Diseases.  It supposedly also has some antiviral effect against single-strain RNA viruses like Dengue and Yellow fever.

I understand and have no problem with that at all.  Heck I don't even care if people use horse wormer.  However I do wonder when using horse wormer do you buy the expensive stuff or will the 1.97 stuff do?  I would just worry about the doseage.  I personally use a lot of horse products on myself, I just don't eat them.  I do know a guy who thought Bute was the greatest drug ever, till his stomach started bleeding and he almost died.

ETA:  I bet it's used in other parts of the world because it works, been around forever and very cheap.   It probably works as good as the new and improved drugs they are making and selling for a hefty profit.  JMO

The passport would not require you to take the vaccine.  Let me give you an example.

I want to go to Hawaii.  If I go now, without the passport, I would be subject to the testing rules. The rules require a test 72 hours before I land in Hawaii.  If I have my passport showing I'm vaccinated, then I dont have to bother with the pre flight testing.

Thats it.  They aren't trying to force anybody.  Infact this is a pretty free market option.  Give an incentive to get peopel to do what they want.  I still dont get why people are so againt the vaccine.

My doctors told me the Pfizer vaccine has a 95% efficacy rate. It will prevent the disease.  This rate is much higher than the flu vaccine -- it's on par with the polio vaccine that wiped out polio. (I have the scar from that vaccine.) I spoke with four doctors whom I trust -- they have been caring for me for many years.  I have family and friends who have decided against being vaccinated and that's fine. Free country.  I respect their decisions. I did my due diligence and made my decision. They have done their due diligence and made their decision.

My pharmacist flat told me NOT to get any of them - the only people whould should actually be getting them are those in high risk. Very smart person, and researches stuff like this for fun. So I trust their knowledge - a lot more than the doctors that prescribe stuff even when you are freaking allergic to it and tell them so.
