| I can't say that I'm really impressed by what I saw. I got a little bay gelding from my sister that was on this feed. I changed him to my program and I've seen so much improvement over the last month.. I don't think she was feeding the recommended amount though. But I wasn't excited by what I saw on any of the horses. |

Location: Willows, CA | They make cattle feed in the same plant and all seem to be alfalfa meal based. That makes expensive alfalfa if you have other alfalfa options in your area. All formulas seem to have corn in them. I think that there are better choices. Perhaps other brands are more expensive, but there is no way to make a quality product cheaply. just my opinion here. |

This is very true... but I'm also fed up with certain feed companies lack of quality control in their higher end feeds as well. When you drop $30+ on a sack of feed and open to find chunks of corn, or mold or foreign pellets mixed in, it's extremely frustrating! I've found corn, oats, a half of a giant cockroach, straw pieces, cat food, and stuff I couldn't figure out! Lol! I realize things happen but either I have the worst luck or quality and/or lack of caring dedicated employees is becoming more frequent. I'm looking at a local feed company now and while it's not very well known, I did get confirmation that they do not produce medicated cattle feed in their plant.. that's a huge plus for me. |

This is why I have been a Loyal BlueBonnet fan for 25 plus years. I have been feeding Triple Crown Lite for the last 4 years to my IR gelding with no complaints. |

She looks absolutely great! I don't know which line they are using but like I said, I don't think they feed anywhere near the recommended amount .. because all I saw was a "scoop" given to each one.. also the forage plays a big part in it as well and regular dental, deworming exercise etc etc.. I shouldn't have blamed the fed so quickly, my bad.. I'm sure it's a very fine feed. I bit the bullet today and bought what might be considered a "cheap" feed not made by a big national brand but I do know the mill is "safe". After having to travel back into town, yet again, to return 2 bags that I just bought yesterday because of big nasty clumps of yuck I found in both bags upon opening. I was refunded $61 ... for 2 bags of feed. I'm tired of it, fed up and just feel like there's a better more economical way. Especially the way things are headed... down the toilet... belts are tightening |

Even blue bonnet lately let some cat food get into their higher feel line!! Triple crown has had chunks of mold, foreign feed etc. that's why I'm sticking with renew gold. |

Defense Attorney for The Horse
Location: Claremore, OK | Unless it's recently changed Big V is NOT an ionophore free manufacturer. I called the company and spoke to their nutritionist. That's really enough for me, I can't risk feeding feed that might have ionoohores in it. |

Location: Tulsa, Ok | I have been using feeds from the Heritage line produced by Big V for many years. All horses have done great on it. Feed is always very consistent quality, clean and fresh. I have never had an issue with a single bag. I use 2400 lbs per month. I will also add that I buy from a feed store that handles and stores the feed correctly and has a quick and continuous inventory turn over. |
