Location: North of where I want to be | Well, here we go again. Another work related relocation post. Tell me about the horse world and best(cost ) area to live and ride around Jacksonville Florida. Also, if anyone has a recommendation on an EXCEPTIONAL facility that can handle weanlings. I really don't want to have my coming filly shipped to PA for a stay before coming to Florida. |

Location: the land of dust & sticks | lots of opportunity to ride in that area. Tough barrel racing district over there that I used to run with a bunch. The equestrian center hosts a couple big shows a yr. youre within a couple hrs drive of Ocala and the Perry ga, both of which have a lot of shows. As far as living and boarding sorry I can’t help there but check with gerona bean on here.....she lives over that way |

I don't live there but travel in that area quite a bit and like the Callahan Fl area. |

Location: WYOMING | I lived in Callahan, just outside Jacksonville. Jacksonville has become a crime infested dump. Callahan is growing too fast but I have 200+ acres for sale there if you are looking for property (I moved to Wyoming). Hilliard is still rural and almost affordable. Its N of Callahan. Avoid Yulee, Fernindina as they are VERY overpopulated and more houses olanned for that area. Baldwin, Glen St Mary, Middleburg, Palatka are all still ok and in various stages of rural.

Location: WYOMING | Depends on the area you settle where a good boarding stable is. I know a few in different areas but its so spread out you need to see where you will live first or you will fight traffic to see your colt. |

Location: RAINY FREEZING AnartiFlorida | I live near Jacksonville. I would move to one of the areas outside of Jacksonville. I would not recommend living in Jacksonville. Lots of crime. We have a pretty good barrel racing community. NBHA district 2 and a lot of local show producers in the area. |
