Anyone have any experience feeding Healthycoat? Notice a difference in coat and hooves?

Yes I have, a long time ago.. I like DAC bloom. It's granules and easier to feed, for me, I do not like oils, it's way too messy for my liking. There's no shortage of options.

I feed healthycoat. I notice that their coat and hooves look better with it. It also gives them some energy. It is easy to feed too. Just pour some on their feed and mix it in. They love it. I also give some to the dogs and notice that they don't scratch in the middle of the summer with dry skin.

I have a dog that scratches all the time.  How much do you give your dog?

I've tried. It draws ants like crazy into the feed room and ants cover the troughs after feeding.

I use to use Healthy Coat and really liked it at the time, but I just hated how it would spoil fast if I didnt keep it in the house, it got to be a pain in the hinny to remember to take it with me when I would go feed, so I said the heck with it and started to use a crumble supplement (Omega HorseShine) I like Sho Glo too.

I usually put dry dog food in a bowl and cover it with the healthy coat. Not so it is floating but just so the pcs are covered with it.

Funny story.... several SEVERAL years ago I was boarding a horse of mine and the owners had dogs that ran loose out there. I bought a jug of healthy coat and left it by my stall while I went to ride.. it was a self care facility.  The dogs found my jug and DESTROYED it.... they chewed thru the plastic bottle to get to it. It was completely gone when I got back from riding. I bought another and put it in a bucket high up on my bales of hay .... next day,  same thing... dogs found it and killed it, I put it in my feed barrel with the lid on and they tipped my feed over trying to get to it. . They loved that stuff! I had to start keeping it in my truck.
