Does anyone else have issues with the nasal strips not sticking?  If so, any tips you can share, please.

I used them for the first time this weekend and didn't have any issues, other than taking them off. They were really on there. Do you use a rag and brush the hair on the nose upwards before applying?  I watched a few YouTube videos before I attempted it.

I couldn't get them to stick at ALL. I know someone who sells them, so I had her put them on for me last weekend and they stuck perfectly. I think now that mine are getting their winter coats, there's a little more hair for them to stick to.

I think a lot depends on the horse in question.  One of our mares is very slick haired and has a lot of natural oil in her coat/skin.  It is hard to get the strips to stick.   We use Show Calf spray adhesive to make them stick.

I use show cattle adhesive. It works great and they come right off after we run.

I agree w those of you who said show calf adhesive!!!! I personally use Stierwalts, but I'm sure any brand would work--if in doubt read the do's and don't's on the label just for safety's sake! I use the medium strength but very lightly! And I can get a few runs in with the same one before having to open another one! I did have one mare that was sensitive to the adhesive on her big bald face, so naturally I went to other breathing aids!!! And I've had one can for a year!!!
