I'm no paper guru. I see some run way back off the papers. Unless you are buying to resell, main thing is how the horse is built and if you like it.

The papers are pretty boring to me, the only name that caught my eye was Boston Mac and hes way back there, But I'm a Boston Mac fan and love his get, but they need to be a bit closer up on papers for me. Do you own this horse? If hes builted right and good minded and sound then thats what counts.. If you own this horse can you post a picture, I know alot of Boston Mac bred horses have a pretty hip and a really pretty head..

On paper, this is what I call "just a horse."  But, so was Scamper and Hotshot.  If he's built right and shows talent, go for it.

I don't know many paints, but I do know Boston Mac sired some pleasure, some race and some all around colts.

He was a grandson of Three Bars and beautiful...

I looked back over the papers and the photo attached to the sire is a crooked little sucker, apperntly a foal of his.    What were they thinking?  From that I gather they are more interested in color than performance and conformation.  That would be a deal breaker for me.   Top side is all western pleasure horses

So we picked her up very cheap. She wasn't in a great situation and my husband had a soft spot for her (which doesn't happen often), so I figured we could help remove her from the situation and give her a chance. She is 6 but acts older than her age, she acts more like a gelding honestly. If she doesn't work out for us I think she could easily make someone a nice trail horse, etc. That's if my husband let's me sell her!

Sorry, I really don't have any good pictures of her right now, this is all I got. As you can see, she's not necessarily what I would look for in a barrel horse but as my husband says, "it's a horse, if she wants to do it she will, if she doesn't then she won't"...he can be brutally honest.

Thanks for the insight on her breeding, I didn't recognize anything but the Boston Mac and Raise a Native but like said above, those are way back.
