Just got a message back from Sarah ...... She lives in Hawesville (Hancock County) near Ohio county. It destroyed 2 or 3 towns there and was headed straight for them. "Hey! We are ok! We were very lucky that the one heading our way turned before it got to us! We had no damage but we have found pieces of insulation, tar paper, and papers in our yard from over an hour and a half away."

Portland, Arkansas is 2 hours south of Little Rock and just a bit to the east. If you type "Portland, Arkansas map" into your search bar (like you would for going to a website) it will pop up. |

Thanks for that. I think we should give all our ad revenue for a week to a tornado fund - any more suggestions? We are 90 percent Okie now and only visiting our place in Kansas to keep prepping it to sell. I know west of us got hit hard but our place is fine. |

| If we could find an individual who needs help I think that would be super fun. Surprise them with some cash. In the past we have used ad revenue to give to Samaritians Purse and we could do that again but it would be cool if would find someone directly to help. |

Location: Ky | This is my county. I'm 20 miles from Dawson Springs. I used to live less than 5 miles from there. I know every person killed there. After tornado destroyed her town, this new UK grad met the president. Then he called her. (yahoo.com) |

This is really a kind thought but" To me that would be really hard to do as in just picking one person (individual) to give money (donatings) too when so many have lost so much in these tornadoes, I would feel really guilty when familys loved one were lost and many have no homes to go to, I could not just choose one person, but thats just me. |

I agree. So many suffering it would be impossible to select one or a few. As the press goes away people are left with the fact that they have no homes or even basic supplies. The outpouring here has been flabergasting. It's overwhelming the support from all over the country. Hopkins County is now asking that donations be money because they don't a place to put supplies that are coming in by the truckload. That's a great problem to have though. The volunteers from everywhere is just outstanding. People from many states away coming in and bringing heavy equiipment and getting right to work and won't think of taking a penney fror their work or even living expenses. It's just amazing. I've seen Dawson Springs. Word is Mayfield is worse. I can't see how but I'll take their word for it. I have a friend in Mayfield that no one had been able to contact. We feared the worst. But he contacted us yesterday. He had no power or cell service. he finally got power yesterday and was able to email. He lost his business but not his home. He says he won't rebuild his business. |

Thanks for that update. Can you help us find a family that needs a cash donation? It would be cool if we could find someone who can't get assistance and needs help. Thanks! |
