High tensile wire. When done up right it will hold your horse and deer leave it alone. I use the galvanized wire ,deer run through it often. My neighbor has high tensile doesn't have a problem

I have 4 strands of high tensile.

2 wires are electric.

They don't touch it.

I have high tensile and it works great, deer don’t bother it, however, if you have a horse get in it it’s ugly consequences. Had 2 bad injuries with it last year.

Agree, it will do the job.  But it will also do a good job at huge and ugly wounds too if something should happen.

If I had to redo something, no climb fencing, then wide tape.

I like the electric rope best! it's sturdy but doesn't cut them if they happen to go through it
