I've watched it a half dozen times and I have no idea how he managed to pick his way thru that traffic without getting tangled up at some point. |

Location: Ky | We were there!! Great atmosphere. Super crowd. Seemed to a larger crowd than ever. Got shut out one race because of long lines at the teller. Would have a couple more but I bet on my phone instead. We won OK on the day. But lost a bit on the Derby. I had the most bet on Taiba but I also put $20 across on Epicenter and Zandon. They didn't cover my losses on Taiba but it helped. We were down near the rail a couple boxes from the finish line. When they passed us Epicenter was in the lead with a charging Zandon. It didn't look like Znadon was going to get him and Asmussen would win his first Derby. I didn't even notice the 21 coming. I was looking for Taiba. From our angle you couldn't see it was 21 that passed Epicenter. It looked like the 2. Awesone race!! No controversy. Got to see D Wayne Lucas win the Oaks on Friday. Good weekend. Churchill does it up right. Except for parking and access. But once you're in it's special. The coldest non raining Derby Day I can remember. Especially for the ladies. They want to show off their frilly resses but the ones with had to keep jackets on. |

We cashed a ticket on him. I friend gave me $120 before we left with instructions to put $2 across on every horse. He cashed 6 tickets total for $284. He does that every year. Last year he got back $75 for his $120. Most years he loses on it. But when an upset hits he makes a little. A guy sitting next to me said he put $5 to win on 21 just because he does that every year. Puts $5 to win on the longest shot on the board. He won about $400 on it. |

Rich Strike ran kinda like Red, and his relationship with his groom reminds me soooo much of Red and Eddie |

| Do you think of Rich Strikes chance for the Preakness? Do you think his win was a fluke or does he have real talent? It sure was a fun race to watch! ( TV) would of loved to have seen it in person. |

Take some luck, shorter so he will have to weave through the traffic a little sooner. Sure will be fun watching---I like him better in the Belmont. |

My thoughts on this horse will be, can lightening strike twice. In the Derby his team got the truckful of luck, I mean really this was a story Disney couldn't write. The opening fractions for the Derby were off the charts, this killed most of the field, it was a perfect set up for a horse coming from out of it. Again, he was passing tired horse and was able to get through! Epicenter jockey J. Rosairo moved to early IMHO had to go around horses in the stretch and I swear neither rider or horse saw Rich Strike to their inside, they were locked on Zandon. Preakeness is shorter, and the trainer of Rich Strike is on record the horse wants to go further. No one in this next race is gonna let him sneek past, they will know he could be coming. So no I do not see him getting the win in the Preakness. And yes the horse has talent, time will tell just how much. |

I agree with this statement .... I see a concerted effort to "block him" in the next race! |

There's a meme on Facebook saying, he's being shipped to Ty Murray's for some training. |

Doubt that but Ty Murray had a lot to say about how the outrider handled the horse after the race. Easy to have opinions when your leg is not getting bit. The horse has issues with other horses, period. The trainer does need to work on |
