| Have you attended horsemanship clincis? Do you have suggestions on who to go to? I am not a beginner by any means, but I can always learn more and I prefer to learn basics rather than barrel racing. Looking for those in the midwest specifically. I am not talking about breaking a colt, but more like how to pick up leads, transitions, foot placement. |

 Jr. Detective
Location: Beggs, OK | I was at Craig Cameron's place this weekend dropping of my 2 yr old and my 4 yr old for his son Cole to ride for me. Craig and Cole were finishing up a clinic there at the ranch and they cover so much information. Roundpen work, body position, moving cattle through obstacles in the arena, etc. Riding the trails at this ranch is not a leisurely stroll, lol. The first time I followed Craig through the trails I was on a 3 yr old that I didn't know very well and it was a rush! I had to remember to keep my elbows in because the trails are narrow and wind all the way through and around the property. It makes 100 acres feel like 1,000. All along the trails there are obstacles like you'll see at his Extreme Cowboy Races. Super fun place. |

| I would LOVE to go to a Chris Cox clinic. I enjoy watching him start and work colts. |

Phil Haugen is very good. Yes, Paul Humphrey is also very good. |

Location: Willows, CA | I have been around most of the natural horsemanship people. Ray Hunt was a great friend and mentor for me. The best I have seen since Ray passed is Buster McLaury. You would not be disappointed if he has a clinic close to you.
