Today is
I'll be going to one of Charmayne's clinics this spring. Never been to one before, though I'll probably be the oldest rider there. I have a young mare that has a great foundation, just starting her on barrels now. The clinic is in April. Any ideas on what to expect out of it?
One of the best clinics I've been to. It's been a while so not sure if the format has changed, but we rode alllll day. Learned a lot, her assistants were great. I hope you get to ride with Heather, she is the best!!
Have fun!
I went to one back in 2016 so maybe things have changed but we started the clinic with a “cruise through” and she took notes on each person Thursday night. Then we went to the classroom and learned from the vet, dentist, farrier and chiropractor. She had her team there if we wanted our horses worked on.
The next two days we did drill/horsemanship work in the mornings and pattern work in the afternoon. On Sunday morning we did another “cruise through” and she took a group picture and handed out gifts. She was a great instructor.
I'm going to the one in Louisiana, too! Meet you there? :D
