I haven't been on here in quite a while but just had to share my sale barn find.  I actually went to the sale barn to their weekly hay sale to buy small squares of grass hay and came home with a mare and filly instead.  My husband was super excited (insert sarcasm font here).  The first 3 pics were taken June 25th, the day I brought them home.  Baby was born May 18th.  The last 3 pics were taken about a week ago.  The filly had an injured eye that I wasn't sure we were going to be able to save and both were very thin.  Momma wasn't milking well, no surprise given how thin she was.  They are both doing great!  Mom has had her teeth done, feet trimmed and both have been wormed.  Lots of grain, grass, and love.  Momma has been very good about letting us doctor the baby and is actually very sweet to be around.  Not sure how they got to be in that condition and it doesn't matter anyway.  I am pretty excited about this filly.  We call her Reba.  Her momma is Quiet Bride and her daddy is Epically Famous.  Not a bad find... 

That's exciting.  And you have them both looking great now. ??
