I AM being nice

Location: MD | Alright, alright! I'll admit it.... I'm looking forward to it! It's for sure not going to be an accurate portrayal of the countless hours each day that are spent doing the things necessary to get a horse and rider to the top, but I bet there will actually be more truth to what is shown than most people will care to admit. |

| on the bright side maybe it will bring more sponsors to the shows ( rodeos and barrel races) for larger added money .. lol getting corporate sponsors unrelated to rodeo might not be so bad.. I think though the show does look boring like amish mafia / real house wives with horses... at least it will open peoples eyes to the sport... though its not really like that who cares If it grows the rodeo scene..more people buying tickets and larger fan base = more $ for rodeo producers as well. I try to look at the bright side... |

If I knew nothing about barrel racing but what I saw on that clip, I would not want my business associated with it.
That being said, I am so deprived of shows that are horse related I will most likely watch this one. Heck I hated the show Texas women, but I watched both seasons. I am a very bored individual lol. |

and yes, we have all seen the 4:30 am game wrap is talking about. it's not any different than the game some play after going out to the bars, but it's def more visible! Especially for paranoid folks like me who check on the horses every couple hours. In my eyes though it was usually a small group of players... Maybe I just sleep too much to see it all. Lol

| Didn't read all 6 pages so sorry if this has been said, but did she actually say, "rodeos really just about mattress hopping"? Really? Is that how Shada and Trevor Brazil would classify rodeo? And Stran Smith? And Mary Walker? It's about mattress hopping??? |

EXACTLY, you look at how Fallon Taylor and Tuf Cooper talk about rodeo ........and I agree with the person that said it wont bring more business to barrels and rodeo, do we want that kind of attention ? ...........SMH I cant think that is what Charmayne James would want or Brittany Pozzi .............please don't try to defend this show, lets call it what it is.............and no I am not oblivious to what goes on at rodeos and after them, I deal with the cattiness of girls and the backstabbing and fights ......I hear where they go after the rodeos and all the girls that chase the same guy..........but we don't have to encourage it and make it cool by putting it on TV that is all I am saying.
Being Classy and a good girl is not such a bad boring thing ladies, or is it just me ?

Location: Texas | Ii personaly would rather watch a series dedicated to the Real "Rodeo Cowgirls". Those who were on the ground floor of this sport. Who were the first barrel racers, bronc riders ropers? What it was like to travel back in the day? Prize monies vs entry fees. What hard ships did they face? How did they keep their families together?Equipment, techniques and the evolution of what it has become today. Amber West's grandma is one of those to be considered foundation. She is an abundence of historical information. What was it like to run at the first National Finals, even to qualify? This is well worth watching!!! It gags me to think of what these women endured to bring the sport to being portrayed in this way! |

| I feel well represented in both my career and my hobby with these barrel racers on A& E and the Nurses on that reality show on MTV (note sarcasm). All I can say is it makes me shake my head I just don't get it. |

I am not trying to be rude, but do we really want to sell ourselves out for trash because it brings our sport more money ? ............there are different ways to go about it ........we should want positive attention not just any attention .........and if it opens people to the sport of rodeo ........then I don't want any part of it........we can get attention without wearing no bra and running around barrels .............and saying rodeo is all about "matress hopping " ICK |

Ummmmmm.........Don't think so.........reputable companies want respectable contestants to represent their products…….not trashy women! Many times, contracts have a “moral standards” clause. |
