Does anyone know anything about Paula Seay's horse Krimps Elmer?Β She was from Florida.Β I was just thinking about her and her horse the other day. Β Β
Elmer is semi-retired. Paula's daughter, Harley rode him in the youth World and was reserve champion a few years back. He is living the good life at their house and doesn't has to work for a living anymore. He can still put us Florida girls in the 3D when he decides to lay one down. Paula doesn't compete on hiim anymore and Harley is not really strong enough to ride him. She is only ten. If I had the money, I would CLONE that horse. He is my all time favorite bar none. |

scamper - 2013-12-06 9:54 PM Codi baucom, probably butchered that. Sorrel horse is all I remember. I liked that horse. And Tonya wright (think last name is correct) she went to the NFR a few times on moe. There was a a gal that was qualified from Mississippi. I can't think of her name but it seemed like her horses were siblings and it was early 2000s and they were sorrel. I know one went to the left. Anyone know who I am talking about?
Codi Baucom on Naughty________, had nice, nice runs in the 06 NFR I just watched.Β
Naughty go gettum. I think she still has him & runs him, she does have a family now so doesn't haul as much. |

Location: At the Brownderosa | Neat little tid bit about Waves (Steinhoff girls ran) & Stitch (Brittany Pozzi) were both trained by the late, GREAT Sonny Suttle!! Sonny was in his 80s when he trained & ran them both. That man was fearless even at that age. |

You just got to get mean and mean it.
Location: Arkansas | Sonny did train both of those horses. Used round bales for barrels.
Sonny's son lived with him, the son commeted that Sonny used to haul him, but now the son was hauling Sonny. |

I would assume the horse has passed because it seems like a lifetime ago they were at the NFR together. not sure about Pecan, but she has 2 babies that are doing well. one by perks master (Pepper Pecan )and one by a streak of fling (shortcake ).
I have had Shortcake for a while for Molly. She sure is fun and I liked her from the first time I swung a leg over her. She's a little pistol for sure and can be a little hard headed but for the most part she's lined out... Here is a very recent video of Shortcake out of Molly Powells great mare PECAN!! When Molly is ready she will be kicking all kinds of butt on her!

Quick3 - 2013-12-05 4:00 PM Β What about.....can't believe I can't remember his name.....Shali Lord's bay horse??
I loved watching him go!
SX Doc Slider.Β He's my dream horse but I'll have to share him with LRQHS. Β Someone just posted yesterday that he's 21 going on 22 now and retired.Β I bet he could still kick ass though. Β
I have wondered about this horse for a couple of years! I LOVED watching him at the NFR--he inspired me to get back into barrel racing, even though it took me a few years even after that to actually do it. But he was such an amazing horse to watch. |

Location: Florida | Came across this post on Elmer. I was the breeder of Elmer and I still have his half brother Crusin in Overdrive they both were out of the Mare Go my Go Cruisin in Overdrive is by Lous Kinipper He produced some nice barrel horses. I have a 2 yr old colt by Cruisin in Overdrive out of an Krimps Elmer mare that I will be standing at stud (in a couple of years). Glad to see Elmer had fans. I am not a big name or big breeder, but it was nice to have one of mine do as well as he did.

Naughty had to be put down to an injury in the pasture. Very sad for Cody...it is why she never competed on him again. They were quite the pair! |
