Location: 31 lengths farms | Thanks...Tuesday cannot get here fast enough for me. I know we are more than likely not going to "heal" her kidneys, but I'd like to think that we can at least keep them functioning at a high enough level to keep her as healthy as we can.
In hindsight, I think about the times that she seemed to have a particularly hard heat or especially cranky and I chalked it up to being a moody excitable mare. After talking to the vets we both think some of those signs were due to the either the kidney stones causing pain or the bladder stone long before we knew they were there. They didnt' happen over night. I've always known this little mare was as tough as nails...now I realize just to what degree.

Location: 31 lengths farms | Blood work came back good, believe both kidneys functioning still at full strength. Right kidney still clear, 2 small stones in left, however 2 small stones in bladder are gone, just the one larger one. Surgery to remove it by lithrotripsy (breaking it up) will be made tomorrow @9:30 am. Thank you all again for your prayers!!! CC and I need a few more stars to align but prayer is strong. |

Location: 31 lengths farms | Vet doing the ultra sound was amazed. She said that normally a kidney with stones in it looks knarley, CC still look good. I'm crediting the herbs:-) |
