I dont give to the Red Cross either, dont trust what they do with the donations, I rather give to the source and know its going where I want it. After seeing where my money went after Katrina I was not a happy camper. |

Me either, got clothes and would like to get them there, I've talked to a few groups here and they have already gone and came back, so still waiting on a few phone calls. If I heard of anything I will let you know.  |

CCA is collecting supplies to take down there. (A list of what's needed is on their FB page) Several area churches are doing the same. |

Well I missed that date of course. . . .
We were getting truck worked on today and so watched a lot of Weather Channel since that was what the repair place had on tv, and watching the scenes from Baton Rouge was heartbreaking. I believe they said 106,000 people had/were applying to FEMA and would get up to 33,000 bucks each. . . . . Some to rebuild and start their entire lives over. . . .With a whopping $33,000. I'm sure they don't care if it was Trump or the Easter Bunny there helping. As long as it was help. As long as he was there. . . |
