Lauren is good, she has her horses at the vet clnic where she works, so far her family in Wharton are OK. Sunday night into Monday are the scary days for flooding. |

Ashley Lynn.....Do you know the timeline for this happening?Β It has been two days since I spoke to Stacy Lucas.Β
I know it's supposed to get rough here after midnight. Are Stacy and JL home, or are they traveling? |

Chandler's Mom - 2017-08-25 11:42 PM Oh dear Lord. . . How long are they predicting this thing will take to move thru?
Expecting it to not clear out till WednesdayΒ
Praying so hard for all of you in the path. Am I understanding that it's coming on shore and then back out? Been concentrating on fish issues and just got to see a little Weather Channel today. |

As I said before, we have LQ for hauling or living in. I bet we can find horse space too. We're pretty far---about 6 hours NE of Dallas. . . . But willing to help. I will be honest since TH was--I don't cook much but I'm a great food orderer and picker upper |

| We are fine but this is going to be beyond devastating. Areas are flooding that have never flooded so people were not prepared. Numerous mandatory evacuations. First responders are flooded in, others can't get to stations to replace them. They are asking for boats and fuel, gas stations are empty. Now saying rain is going to continue beyond Wednesday. |

Location: Texas | My parent's house has a lot of water around it but isn't close to coming inside the house or barn. We have a slough that fills with heavy rains and a pond that temporarily holds water.. all of that is full right now.
My neighborhood in Magnolia is barricaded in- the road leading in and out of it is closed with water on it. No water is close to coming in our house. I'm not sure what's going to happen within the next few days. I wasn't able to drive into work this morning so one of the other doctor's had to drive in for me. I will owe him a weekend for sure. |

Location: Texas | What makes me nervous is so many of the bigger roads are closed/flooded so I'm not sure where all people are going to evacuate to now that they are deciding to leave. I mean heck if we wanted to leave our neighborhood we couldn't... weather forecast has a 100% chance of rain through Wed, 90% Thurs, and 80% Friday. IDK what this area will look like after that. I haven't lived in Magnolia very long. |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | We lost a run-in shed....thrown about 30 feet and flipped upside down. Horses and cows sink up to their hocks in some soft spots. Road closings all over hell.
A neighbor said we've gotten 16" so far, according to his rain gauge.
We are supposed to get 5" today and another 5-8" tonight. The extended forecast for us, according to Weatherbug is for rain and thunderstorms up through next weekend every day. We could easily get 30+" when its all said and done. |

Location: Kansas | I have been watching some coverage on tv of people and their pets being helped from their flooded homes. They just didn't believe it could get this bad so didn't leave. I can hardly believe what I'm seeing. Farms and neighborhoods totally under water.

Her ankle was getting better, but it's flared up lately. She won't sit still. Stubborn woman.
I looked up road closings in Bastrop county and there are dozens of them. I bet at least 50. |
